And because you don't have any pets for the obligatory 'pets in the suitcase' photos, I got you there too. Although this knucklehead prefers piles of leaves and trashcan lids to suitcases.

Day 2 Recap

Sorry for the radio silence yesterday but what a great day. Started early with the alarm at six am to get over to Pick up the rental. I saved $30 by rebooking with Avis at Circus Circus but won’t do that again. Uber was $11, Avis is all the way back and the cats are on the fifth floor of the garage. Van is nice



Drove back to Bally’s and put the car seats in and waited for the crew at the Lobby bar. We were behind schedule so skipped the ride around town and went straight to Carlito Burritos to be there at opening time. We learned our lesson last time trying to order and having the twins acting up so had decided the order before arriving. Walked in ordered and got the food quick.



Sorry I forgot food photos with the chaos going on. The pork verde is awesome. They were out of tamales so I switched to enchiladas which were amazing. The verde sauce is the icing on the cake. I put it on everything. My wife always gets the pork verde stew which is also great. Here’s a few have eaten items



More later time to get things moving

 

Not much to report on the gaming. After Carlitos everyone was in a food coma so nap time. I played at Cromwell a couple hours then back to load up the crew for Gangnam Asian BBQ.



We ordered the premium option I think which had several meat choices. It was just about the right amount of food. Sorry no good food photos






We got back shortly before Artsy Nannies arrived. MIL was there but stayed clear so they played with the nanny. She said The kids had a great time and showed their own artistic talents


I am told that the green one is a dinosaur and the other is a unicorn. That’s why I don’t go to art museums. I just don’t have the eye for it

While out nanny was here, we went down to the Lobby bar and played awhile then over to HL and finally a wonder through the slots with random play here and there.

After we said good bye to the nanny, I went back down to indulge in a cigar and play a bit. I had the TCs with DWs help but played at Sully’s bar and did some spontaneous slotting. I actually hit a few jackpots on the first or second spin so stuck with that a while.











I got in a groove at the front bar playing Deuces Wild and ran up a lot of TCs. I realized I was past the point of no return and went for my next TC target. After getting it I settled into a couple hours of $50 BJ in the HL which I hardly play anymore. Ended up winning back about $1000 of my losses. Although having a great time it was late and the twins would be up early. The

Day 3

Finally drug myself out of bed T 7am to get the kids ready. We had a slow start but still made it to M&M store by 9 for opening. The twins were so excited it was hilarious. We had such a good time watching them run from item to item switching each time they found a new one. Yes we got a bag of assorted flavors which ended up being more for the adults.








Coke store wasn’t open so we crossed the street to the Hershey store. Nor the same impact on the kiddos but they still had fun and we ended up with another bag of sweets.







They were dipping strawberry in chocolate when we were there and had an assortment of goodies





It was a great time taking the kiddos and seeing the excitement and energy level. We walked from the parking to M&M , Hershey’s and back so they are really enjoying their nap right now

 

We timed it to be at Lotus of Siam when they opened at 12 and had already prepared our order.

Appetizers were Mee Krob , chicken date and pepper garlic chicken wings







Main dishes were pepper garlic chicken, drunken noodles with sea bass, Larb pork







Leftovers for the kiddos and grandma dinner while we go to BLT

 

Fingers crossed, he's due!

Seems my son and I are the only ones here and we are texting anyway so
