I've discovered that Cosmo pretty much has EVERY machine you'd ever want to play in terms of slots. They even have still have my beloved Sons of Anarchy which I pray they still have come my trip in October!

Yep Cosmo has it. Tried it and went down to my last bet and hit the bonus. Got free spins and miraculously got back my buy in plus a few bucks. That was it for me.

In case you go downtown ever, I played it at The D, it's on the 2nd floor close to a restaurant.

I love buffalos, and diamonds are okay too (especially when they pay!). Looks lovely - I'll have to try this on my trip next month! :D

So at The Orleans. The first night I watched people play these $4 bet. I saw a $1200 and $2700 jackpot

The next day I decided to try at 75 cents a spin. Sat there for about 5 hours. Never got the 3x pay which was at 72 games. Also never got the 4x pay at 76 games. I did get 45 games at 2x pay. $36!

So after about 5 hours of playing I lost $1020 . I think that's ridiculous. Sure I did play for hours. But the pays were awful. I did switch it up, played a few different bets also. Cashed out , tried to get machine to do something. Nothing .

On Sunday I was back. This lady hit the 4 x pay. 101 games $4.00 bet. A little over $1200 pay. Which when one figures it out. Average of $12 a spin. Super tight machines there for sure

As pictured in my latest trip report. I was in about $600 Until I hit the 4X bonus for a little over $1000.

Very tough when they're not paying.

I play at $4.00 because 1)It's within my budget, and 2)if you get the bonus, it can only pay one of the Spin bonuses or the Grand jackpot.

Will be in Vegas in a week and a half. I think I'll stick with Buffalo Grand. Looks like a lot of weak bonuses. A lot of sizzle and not much steak!

Around what number on the free spins should I consider sitting down at?

Is there some sort of "hot" indicator like on the Harley machines?

No there isn't an indicator, it just keeps climbing. Just play whatever feels comfortable, because it can hit at random (32 spins one day, again at 8, and then it might not hit again until 65, etc).

I've had good luck at the ones at Cosmo, and at my local casinos (only 2 locations have 'em that I know of).

Well, IMHO, your loss. If you're playing at the higher level bet, there are winnings to be had. IMHO, the ones that "suck" are the three wheel Buffalo Gold and the other three wheeler, Buffalo Inferno.

I have had success with Buffalo Max at the max bet level.

Yes. If you look at the bar that tells you what bet level has what # of spins, I believe normal is blue and higher than normal is yellow. Here's a look at what I got on 71 spins at 4X at $4 a spin.

I've played this one at both Cosmo and Harrahs.

No Mlife property had them last time I was out. Alternatively, most every downtown property has them.
