I'm truly sad. Glad I got to see him and Micky a few years back. I love The Monkees so much.

    :(

The Monkees slot machine was fairly common maybe 7 or so years ago. Nowadays you see it only rarely.

I remember sitting down with my mom and binge watching a Monkees marathon many decades ago. They all were funny, but Peter was my favorite. RIP

That would be Mike Nesmith. Still going strong, I hope.

Dont forget this song, believe its the only Monkees song Peter sang. Very unique song, loved his flat vocal delivery. RIP

Mike is my favourite. It's pretty hard to pick my 2nd favourite though. Nobody was the worst Monkee. (okay it's Micky but only slightly haha) They just make me so happy.
I am a bit shocked though because I didn't see them that long ago and it was really a great show. My husband had never heard of them and even he enjoyed it, it wasn't like they were losing their voices or anything, it was just that 2 were missing so the songs sounded a bit different. I do not regret one bit driving 6 hours to see them.

The Monkees are scheduled to appear at Ocean Casino in Atlantic City next Saturday, March 2.

Anybody have one of these back in the day?

The Monkees caught my eye when they showed repeats on MTV in the 80s. Would have loved one of those lunchboxes, though.
