Ahhh, good question.Hard as in firm dates, not hard is in hard to do haha. It does take a few days to kick in so you wouldn't really have it until Feb anyway. I don't see any qualifying amounts for January. It seems too logical to have you do it at the end of january to start in feb.

When we upgraded in 2017 it was effective immediately, but we did it in Atlantic City. Also in Atlantic City they are definitely not upgrading until February 1st.

I finally got the few points I needed to get the gold card at my local so I drove over to Horseshoe Hammond to do the status match.

After about 10 minutes of pecking at a computer, calling over supervisors, and walkie-talkie conversations, I was told "Sorry, we can't do it here and now. Cromwell is your 'dominant' property. We will have to do an email request with the higher-ups. Check back in a week or so."

    :grrr:

They are putting the $100 on the card to use? Does it have to all be used at once like the voucher does? Do you know which casinos are doing this? I go solo and it is hard for me to find something to spend $100 on so would love to have $100 put on my card and I can use it over a few meals.

It's a one time shot. You have to spend the entire $100. They use to exclusively use vouchers but have been switching to putting it on your card. Some places may still require vouchers. I think you still have to go to the TR desk to get it put on your card

Came back from Vegas and were able to status match to Diamond (from Mlife Gold), got free valet/self parking, waived resort fees and free shows. Attended the WOW show, Mat Franco was sold out til mid-February. Everyday, we were checking at the TR desk if the celebration dinners were added to our accounts (were told it could take 7-10 days), finally four days later one of the TR desk clerk tells us it is available so we left and called BLT to check if we can have a table for the same evening (Sunday, our final night in Vegas), when ready to get our vouchers, another clerk told us it was not loaded and again said it could take 7 to 10 days...we were not happy and told her that she should check again that the previous guy told us they were loaded, she checked again and said no they are not available but I will exceptionnally solve the issue and manually add them to your accounts. So be aware, they can do it...

Now during our 5-night stay, we have reached the Platinum status for the next year (5K TC), would you know if we would be able to match again from Wyndham next year since we did Mlife this time? Eligible VIP loyalty card from select competitors say only one match - Participants that had their Caesars Rewards accounts upgraded via the 2018 Diamond Tier Match Offer will not qualify for this offer but is Wyndham different since it is their partner maybe?
Would really like to keep the Diamond status...

    @Luv2cruise Yes.
Last year I matched my Mlife Platinum to Caesar's Rewards Diamond and used the $100, show tickets, etc. Then I matched my CR to Wyndham. This past January 31st I lost my Diamond status at CR due to the reset. Then around February 10th, I matched my Wyndham Diamond to Caesar's Rewards and got my Diamond back, lol.

NOBODY knows what will happen "next year". Right now people have been able to do it multiple times. And swapping back and forth. Eventually they may decide to shut that off. And CET is well known for changing things often.

I really think the Mlife match and Wyndam match are operated differently.

FWIW, my diamond renewed when I didnt expect it to off a Wyndham match where the wyndham status was meant to expire.

But thus far Wyndham has not let me match back to them. That could just be a timing issue though.

Wonder if you can use the BLT Groupon with the $100 dinner? :)

Unfortunately there is a catch in the fine print of the BLT groupon where you have to eat at BLT.

That's what I was asking. Can I use the Groupon at BLT AND the $100 dinner voucher?

I wouldn't think so, but you'd have to read the fine print on both. I'm sure one of them would say: "Cannot be combined with any other offer." That kind of thing. Most likely the Groupon one. Depends on how the Groupon one is distributed too.

We've used the Giada's groupon with the $100 diamond dinner and reward credits for the difference at the same time.

Can I ask how the free show tickets work?

We are going July and thinking about tier matching out platinum Mlife. Do I just go to the desk and ask to match?

Yes that is correct. Go to the rewards desk and you get the status match.

For the showtickets go to the rewards desk as well. You'll get a coupon wich you take to the desk where you can book the shows for that resort. There you redeem your coupon for the showticket

For the show tickets, you get the voucher at the Ceasars Rewards desk, but you get the tickets from the box office. We have always done it at the CR desk and the box office where we were staying, regardless of where the show is playing. There may be a few exceptions where you have to get it from the resort where the show is playing but so far we haven't found that to be the case.

Is there a way to do the match prior to getting to LV and not have to wait the possible 10 days to activate the $100?

Is there a CET property near you? You can upgrade there as well, it doesn't have to be in Vegas. I think i did my tier matching at Harrah's Southern California

My tier-match turned out to be a huge clusterF. I used my gold card from my local to match at Horseshoe Hammond. HH said that my dominant property is the Cromwell and they would have to run it through the Cromwell and it could take a week or two.

Eventually, I showed up as Diamond on the website. Once I arrived in Vegas, I stopped by the Cromwell desk and received my physical Diamond card. I asked about the $100 dinner (really the only thing I cared about) and they said it was good to go.

The next night I took my guests to the Harrah's buffet to use my $100. "Sorry sir, I don't see it on your account." I checked at the Harrah's desk and they said my acct. was "blocked" from all offers. They couldn't say why or how and to check back later, or they would call me.

The next day I stopped at several club desks and they all said the same thing - "blocked". No one got back to me, of course.
