And the Browns genuinely seemed to be finding their way clear of dysfunction. I'm surprised. Everyone deserves a second chance for most screw-ups... he's from the Cleveland area and played his college ball right up the road in Toledo... I'm not labeling him dysfunctional, but he certainly brings some baggage and heightened scrutiny with him that hasn't benefited the Browns organization in the past. I haven't followed his situation of late, but I don't recall him even offering a heartfelt and sincere apology for being an asshole yet.

I don't think it was that bad..I see him kicking a golddigger with a gtfo in the ass and no intent of injury...I'd rate this a 1 on the Ray Rice scale in the NFL.

I read an article about Hunt's family a while back and I'm actually surprised he's not dead or in prison already. That he got as far as he did is a miracle. I think they are investigating him for more than just his altercation with the woman though, so I'll be curious to see what kind of suspension he ends up with next year.

It is an exciting time that's for sure. Can't wait to see who stays and who goes in the Chiefs Kingdom. I saw that Matt House was going to be LB coach. Then he wasn't. Now he is. Kind of like Eric Berry...day to day. .

@Catzilla As long as Mahomes is there they will be very competitive .Their defense should be better with the hiring of Steve Spagnoulo as defensive coordinator, He coached the giants defense when they won the 2 Super Bowls.

They should , but no one is irreplaceable there , they say Amendola might come back , we will know in about a month what's going to happen once free agency starts.

Thats more of a media based notion imo. Most of the guys that walked over the years were either on the downhill slide or got a contract that they would not be playing at an elite level for the whole deal. Gilmore showed they are willing to pay for elite talent and flowers is perfect for their system. Amendola would have to come back for next to nothing imo. Hopefully they can get an extension done with Brady to free up more cap.

We have had posts about Robert Kraft in several different threads here. Most have not gone well and quickly devolved into sexist and racist jokes about it. Since this is the NFL thread, I thought it best to put my statement here.

Because this topic is less about the NFL and more about human trafficking and sex slavery, the moderators and I have decided that this topic is inappropriate and off-limits for VMB. All future posts about the topic will be deleted or edited to remove the content.
