I must have bad luck because I keep seeing incorrect mins listed for craps tables across the strip.

Case in point: One website said that Cromwell had $10 mins, and right before lunch it was $25 (!). Then right after lunch, the 2nd table opened up for $25 mins. And this was on a Thurs!

Another point - Planet Hollywood - I see a lot of $15 mins there. I must have bad luck.

Yea - i know; play off the strip, you get better craps odds, but sometimes you are stuck on the strip, so hence the ask for an updated craps list.

The minimums are not set in stone. They vary by day of the week, by the hour, in response to traffic at the table, at the whim of the casino, etc.

The lists give a good estimate on what to expect. The limits are changed constantly. It is still good information.

Here’s strip limits: $10 minimum unless the place is nice at all. Then the minimums are $15. If it’s really nice, minimums are $25.

Only shot at $5 is Excalibur, Casino Royale, Bally’s, Flamingo EARLY in the day during the week.

Agree with @Not at the table Carlos but I have seen $10 craps at Wynn and Venetian cosmopolitan aria Bellagio but usually early in the day.

I can't think of any Strip casino where the mins regularly start at $25, but agree with the rest of this. Its real simple and probably what you would expect. If you want to play craps at the smallest minimums, go to the casinos that market to the lower rollers (Hooters, Trop, Excal, Luxor, Ballys, Harrahs, Casino Royale, etc)

One morning last year I ended up playing a $10 table at Bellagio after checking Cromwell and it was at $15. I no longer find it worth the walk to check Cromwell.

For a $5 table, I will check NYNY in the morning if I am nearby (do not find it as often as I used to though). Excalibur will usually have $5 during the day, but I've never checked them at night to see what they are at.

For $10, I generally will play Bellagio or Aria. My experience last year was that Aria would even have $10 tables at night (at least early evening when I'd be playing), but there was one night on my last trip where they were at $25 min. and higher on the tables, and the $25 tables were still packed.

My experience for Paris and PH is generally being able to find $10 available during day, and $15 at night. More likely to find a $10 table at night at Paris than PH. I rarely play at CET properties any more though, and PH and Paris were the primary ones I did at the time.

My general experience with Cosmo has been $15 tables during day, but they might have a $10 table at times. I did not believe they were ever lower than $15 till actually playing a $10 table on one trip last year.

My current preference is to play at MLife properties because I can usually find $10 tables without trouble (especially during the day), and they will grandfather you in if they raise it.

....or, you could just take the 5-minute free shuttle from the High Roller to Gold Coast & play 24/7 at $5 minimums.

Rather than bad luck I would say you have bad timing. Sounds like you were here this past weekend which I was also. You picked Super Bowl weekend. Min mid strip started going up Friday, Saturday most were $15 and Sunday it was mostly $25. Monday it was still $25 and then started to get back to $15.

Those sites are updated from what people typically see. This isn't a typical week. It been this way the last 2 years that I have come for Super Bowl weekend. It is the same if there is a big fight or some other event.

I agree with the above posters that it varies between weekdays and weekends. But I have noticed a few trends over the last year at the casinos that I frequent the most:

    1. PH has $10 tables during weekdays, and sometimes on weeknights. On weekends, they generally move to $15 by noon (sometimes leaving one $10 table open), and mostly $25 at night.
    2. Cromwell has been moving to $15 tables most of the time, and 100% of the time on weekends.
    3. You can generally find $10 tables all the time at Harrahs, Ballys and Paris.
    4. Cosmo usually has only $15 and above minimums. You might find $10 in the early morning.
    5. Surprisingly, you can find $10 minimums at most MGM casinos pretty much all the time.

Aria consistently has $10 tables in the evenings including weekends.

Bellagio and Mirage usually $15 but occasionally seen $10 in the evenings.

interesting that Cromwell has raised craps to $15 mins, considering they spread $10 3:2 blackjack 90% of the time...

NYNY I have always had luck finding at least 1 $5 table during the week until around 5pm. The old Monte Carlo also had $5 Craps during the week, I am guessing the Park MGM is at least $10....

Any chance of a $5 table at Luxor? We love playing at Excalibur, but we are staying at Luxor next month and it would be great to be able to play where we are staying (also hoping to introduce some in our group to the craps table!). If not, I know we can easily wander over to Excalibur, but curious if anyone has feedback on what they've seen for minimums at Luxor. TIA

Thanks for the feedback, folks. I acted accordingly and ended up at the Aria on a $10 table at 6pm at night. Funny thing was that there were so many folks betting large amounts it became a $100 table by the time I left. Unfortunately ,the rollers sucked both ways (including myself) so i walked out with a beat down (but hey- I got a sky suite comped for the night!). I guess my "highlight" was seeing a former coach in the NBA bet $300 per number and bet $100 horn bets. Lotsa fun watching him swing lilterally thousands of dollars between each roller.
