Today i figured, stripwalking would be a good idea.

Passed by Lady Liberty. Loved the sight of her wearing a golden knights jersey.

Made a quick stop at Earl of Sandwich at PH for a nice hawaiian bbq sandwich. Good stuff for breakfast.

Strip was pretty crowded even at that time.

But i did make it to the Wynncore. Made a nice win on Kronos for about 300$ at Wynn, but lost it all again at Encore.

But nevermind, i had a lots of fun loosing it, and i would think that Wynncore has the most beautiful CWs over all!
    Jeezuz, they were absolutely stunning!

Some pics of the Wynncore included. However, none of them with a CW.

Later, i decided it would be a good time to indulge in a nice cigar, so i went over to the fashion show mall and hit the Davidoff Cigar bar.

Really helpfull staff there and a good selection of cigars and spirits. I opted for a nice MyFather Le Bijou 1922 with a side of Hendrick's Gin and Tonic.

Great stuff! Really enjoyed the smoke and the peoplewatching there; highly recommanded!

After this amazingly relaxing time there, i walked back the strip south, and just while passing the Treasure Island my phone batteries died. Dammit! So, no pics after that.

Did recharge it while taking a Long shower and relaxing my aching feet for about 2 hours.

Then it was time for dinner. Did try the camelot steakhouse at excalibur. Had a lot of dining credits there, so i figured why not. Hands down, ist was really good! I passed on bread, butter and starters and went directly to the filet mignon with garlic fries. Steak was medium on the point as i requested. Delicious!

I did choose to sit at the bar and had an entertaining conversation with Hector the barkeeper and some funny guy from Vancouver. Hector offered me a free sample of some habanero-infused tequila. Tasty without a doubt, but afterwards i had the feeling that my face would be melting. Be afraid of this stuff, be very afraid!

Gambling was uneventful today. No jackpots, but no big losses either.

    I'm happy with that. :peace:

Just a remark on the side: I really do not judge other people by their clothing, and i've seen a lot of rather questionable attire, but what the hell was wrong with this guy?

    image.jpeg

It's Vegas, i know. But come on, wearing a jacket that looks like an illegal breed between the carpet of the CircusCircus and my grandma's kitchenwallpaper from the swingin' sixties is just too much...

@Nordlicht - I think that's where the Robert Irvine "sign" was and they just haven't replaced it yet.

Enjoying your trip report so far! I was wondering if you could try the HofBrauhaus and judge it for authenticity.

    East paradise and Harmon.

But, considering that you didn't come all the way from Germany to eat "tourist version home cooking". . . . .

Wonderful trip so far. Agree on clothing. Sometimes I think I’m seeing people wearing clothes made out of curtains from the 40s and 50s. It is kind of an added plus in Vegas- people watching.

Very nice TR, do you prefer to fly over londen instead of making a stop in the US? What airline did you fly with? This summer they are introducing direct flights from Amsterdam and Germany.

@DaiLun Have been there a few years ago. As far as i know the beer is imported from germany, so it is authentic. The food there is rather.... mediocre in my opinion. But considering the fact that i also didn't like the food at the real Hofbräuhaus in Munich, it might be more or less authentic. But i guess most people come there for the beer and the fun, right?

Did fly with British Airways this time, because of the amazing low fare i could score the ticket. But i am always open to new carriers and connections. Which airline is it then? KLM i would guess?

Let's talk about hangovers, shall we?

Woke up today and felt more or less like dead. Might have overcooked it a little last night...
Oh well, might be a sure sign of getting older, who knows. At least i did not find a tiger in my bathroom or some new tattoos on bodyparts i don't desire to have tattoos on.

So i really had to slow down a bit today.

Went over to Shakeshack and got a Baconshack with spicy bell peppers and some cheese fries. Good stuff to scare away a hangover!

    image.jpeg

Walked over to Hooters and Tropicana to get a chip for my collection. But i simply don't like both places, so i left pretty soon again and walked slowly northbound on the strip all the way up to Flamingo. A short visit to the habitat is quite nice, watching the pink birds for a while.

Next stop was the Mirage. I figured i should reboot my system very gently today, so i sat down at the Rhumbar patio to indulge in a nice camacho cigar and a SamAdams. Seems to have worked pretty well, i was feeling much better after my smokingbreak there.

    image.jpeg

It was a bit chilly out there, with some heavy winds now and then, but they had heaters up and running, so you could still choose to just stay on the patio with no freezing.

Newly refreshed, i headed over to Caesars to roam around the forum shoppes for a while. I just love CP and the shoppes, even if i get lost somewhere at CP every f*cking time. :rolleyes2:

    image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Eventually made it to what was once the TotalRewards desk. Now it is CaesarsRewards. Well... whatever.
They had a promotion running, to upgrade your account for free according to the level you have at any other major playersclub. So i got my new diamonlevel with zero play at any CE property this year. This card might be useful to skip lines at buffets during the upcoming guys only trip in october.

    image.jpeg

Finally made it back to the room to relax a bit. Downside of all the walking the last two days is that my right knee tends to jam and lock itself sometimes. Had an accident two years ago, and (luckily, i must say) this annoying behaviour is the only thing that is left over from that accident.

But now i am ready to go again. Time to hit the casino floor again. Will wear this shirt with pride in a very ironic way tonight.

    image.jpeg

Might be back later this night. Let's say what will happen....

I view that steakhouse as a hidden gem. DBueler and I have dined there easily a half dozen times over the years and EVERY meal has been excellent but without the typical LV strip steakhouse prices.
