    My Trip Report

Hello VMB world!!! This is my first attempt at a TR and I am pretty excited to get my trip going. First off, I do not know if this will be live or even semi-live. When I am in Vegas I do not have much down time, which is exactly how I like it. So it may be tough to post a lot. I will try and take as many pictures as I can, but again I may forget at times.

BACKGROUND: So I am turning 30 in April and my wife (29) wanted to do something fun for me. It will be my 10th time in Vegas and her 4th. This will be our 3rd together, and 2nd this year (went as part of our honeymoon in July). We are both public service employees and as much as I want to take pictures of the ridiculous stuff we get into, it will most likely not have our faces in it. I am definitely the planner in all of this, even though it was for my birthday. But planning is half the fun for me. I like to have a plan for my trips but also go with the flow and see what happens when drinks are going. (We drink a lot, or I should at least speak for myself lol) Work has been tough for both of us lately, so we are beyond excited for this.

TRAVEL: We are flying out of CLE on a Spirit flight that is non-stop. We got a really good rate and I love how Spirit has these evening flights that are non-stop. Any other time I would go with SW since we have a lot of points and use the CC. I am bringing 6 mini bottles on the plane and will most likely be consuming all of those while she sleeps, so we can have a fun first night. I will be pretty hammered by the time we get there. Taking SW non-stop on the way home

HOTEL- 4 comp nights at Park MGM. Just their lower level Park MGM King room. Neither of have stayed there, and honestly I haven't spent much time there in all my trips to Vegas. For some reason we got a 4 night offer with very little play on my MLIFE card. Must have been a corporate deal or something. I already checked us in online and they will send an email when the room is ready. Just have to use the dreaded kiosk I keep hearing about on different threads. I am pretty tech savvy so I am not too worried.

Gambling- We are low low rollers. Bankroll of $800 total We will be using all Downtown Coupons and EI coupons for gambling from the LVA book. We will also both have $50 free MP from the D for flying Spirit. We both are hoping to get the $50 FP from myVegas for Park MGM even though we are staying on a comp. If not we have some more FP through the Konami app.

We both love VP. We like playing on the floor and bartop. Getting as many comp'd drinks as possible. We will literally play at any casino on the strip and downtown and don't care about comps. She is much more timid with her gambling and will play JoB or DW at the $1.25 level. I will play much more variety and test out some of the different games. I also like to play table craps and bubble craps. But may test out other games. We will do some slots, especially the Bachelor slot which is her favorite. In her words, "I am a total white girl."

Food- Most of our locations at certain times will be centered around where we are eating. When we get in tomorrow night, I really have no plans for food. We have Aria Buffet (myVegas 2 Free), NFI (myVegas), MAG, Cheescake Factory (Gift Cards), In-N-Out, and maybe Freedom Beat (2 for 1).

Drinking- Frankie's and Juniper Lounge (myVegas) are on the agenda. Maybe even Golden Tiki

    Agenda
    Thursday-
Once we get in, we will go to a dispensary and head to the hotel to check in. Depending on how tired she is, we may hit up Cosmo and Aria.

Friday- Aria Buffet for breakfast. Gamble and maybe hit up Cosmo. Uber to Frankie's and then the big coupon run downtown. Start at the Tez and make our way to all casinos. May use my Binions app for something free. Dinner at Freedom Beat. Then Uber home hammered and ready for bed.

Saturday- MAG for breakfast. Hit up Paris and Bally's. Go to EI and use all of the LVA coupons. Maybe hit up Cromwell and others. Head back to hotel to freshen up. Cheesecake Factory for dinner and dick around that area. ***I am a huge Columbus Blue Jackets fan, but the tickets are outrageous compared to back home. If I find a cheap price, I may jump on it especially if we are winning. Could change the whole night.

Sunday- Uber down to Mirage and just go with the flow for the day. Do whatever we didn't get to. Back to freshen up. Hit up Juniper Lounge for HH with our myVegas coupon and then over to NFI for dinner. Then again go with the flow for the night.

Thanks everyone!! I know, it is way early to be celebrating an April birthday lol. But it was all that we could work out for now. @miss_sonja Great news! I have been following along with your TR, but it looks like we narrowly miss one other. Have you been by Juniper at all?

Have fun and good luck! Let us know if you are able to use the MyVegas Free Play. We're there in 3 weeks and hope to do the same.

Today is the day!!!! Woke up and started looking at the weather. It is going to be warmer in Ohio then in Vegas today. That seems crazy to be for this time of year. Last week where I live was -30 degrees with wind chill and today it will be 60. 90 degree DIFFERENCE!!!! It look brisk in Vegas the whole time we are there.

So it is all about the wait now. I work at home, so that may help make the day go a bit faster. I am getting a ride to the location my wife will meet up with me since she works over an hour away and it is smarter to meet halfway. Leaving home around 2ish and will get her around 3ish, will then head to the airport and our flight is at 5.

Just got an awful email from Spirit....We are delayed until 9 now. First big loss of the trip. The whole reason I booked this flight was because of the time. Really bummed.

At least they didn’t cancel. Once you’re in the air, all is well.

So right now the flight is scheduled at 9. I agree, I am one to look on the bright side! But I complained on Twitter and we both have $100 vouchers to use at some other point. All I did was send them my details and said I was sad lol. Nothing mean.

Weather is nasty in Ohio, very rainy. Uploaded a picture of that and my lucky socks!

    Not bad for the complaint!

Hopefully they hold to that 9p estimate. A big problem with Spirit/Frontier, if they cancel, you're really in a pickle to get there.

Yeah if it's canceled then we are screwed for the night. We live an hour a away and they don't have another flight until tomorrow night. But there is a website to check flight status and it took off at like 4:35 from Vegas and will be our plane.

Yeah you're fine as long as there isn't a mechanical flag before takeoff from CLE, which I assume was the reason for the delay this morning. Hope this gets the bad luck out of the way early!

Yeah that was my biggest concern. But I think we are good. Haven't had any updates in awhile.
