I love going in the fall, especially October and early-November. Temperatures are great, and football weekends in the sports book are the best time!

I've been pretty much at all times of the year, but if I had to choose one it would be summer. Love chilling by the pool in the mornings before getting into trouble later in the day/night.
We've been for NYE a couple times recently where it is quite busy and we didn't mind, but I think we'd prefer times when it's slightly less busy.

I'm OK going any time of year, but May is my favorite month. It's warm enough to get out to the pool, but not so hot that it is miserable.

I tend to walk around a lot with my camera gear, and in the past my camera bag weighed a good 15 pounds. I've since moved to a lighter kit, but when the temperature is 110 degrees, carrying anything for several miles a day can get old.

Shouldn't the correct answer be somewhere between January 1 and December 31?

Upon reading the question I honestly didn't know my favorite or preferred time. I broke it down.
Well, let me see here. I have been to Vegas:
1 x First week of April
1 x First week of May
    1 x Middle of September
2 x Last week of October
1 x First week of November
    1 x Middle of November

April was good. Good weather. As was May. So was September. Come to think of it, so was October and November. Save for one trip in October when it was colder and windier than it was back home which is in the southern part of Alberta which is not warm and fairly windy at that time of year.

I'm not sure I want to go during the mega hot summer months, and I'd rather not go during the coldest times either.

I think I would prefer October, mostly due to timing of things back home, but April/May and Mid-September to Mid-November is good for me.

Anytime except for May-September. I always make one trip during the summer months that I tell myself I will never do again.... but Vegas. But truthfully the summer heat is just oppressive. I hate the feeling of your hands getting swollen from the heat, walking, the inevitable dehydration at some point...

I don't really care about pools anymore. It was more of a necessity on the first few trips to Vegas, and in the early twenties on trips with friends. The drinks are too expensive, the seating too limited, and again ... its just too damn hot to enjoy what I enjoy doing in Vegas, drinking! The heat and drinking do a horrible number. You can only drink so much water and alcohol before finding yourself getting out of the pool to piss every 10 minutes.

I always enjoy my December, February, and March trips. Quality weather.

For us April. The weather has been quite nice at that time for us. We did try Jan a few years back and won't be doing that again. It was sunny for sure but still too cold for us.

Late June here. I can only really take time off during the summer months and it's before the Fourth of July.

Last 2 weeks in June & 1st two weeks in July.

WSOP is in full flight, so poker all over town, and then big UFC weekend after July 4th.

Summer! I love it when you're going down the escalators on the strip late at night and the still-90 plus degree breeze is blowing. Ahhh. My happy place. (plus packing is so easy with lightweight clothing)

Yes, I'm a nerd who has a spreadsheet of every trip I took starting in '97. So judging by the data it looks like Dec is my favorite time to go! Bottom line is that anytime is good as far as I'm concerned but if I had only one trip for a year and I had to choose when I think I'd pick the Jul-Aug time frame, love the pool, don't mind the heat....

    Yes.
But seriously, August. I think my first trip was in February. And I've been in various spring and summer months, but we really enjoy August. I know it's hot, but that's part of the fun for us.

I like going February-March to break up the winter.

April has more consistent weather, but the trade-off is it's too long to wait - I start going stir crazy in February. Have lucked out with a couple of February trips being in the 70s, but it is cool at night as somebody mentioned. First trip & most earlier trips were March as is this year - past midway of what I consider winter.

Ditto on breaking up the winter with a trip in March followed by a second trip in September/October--these are the minimums. A third trip in the summer is certainly not out of the question and have had no issues with the heat on past summer trips.

Easy, pool season. Going to Vegas when the pools are closed doesn't cut it for me.

I think I like May & October the best. For us (Northern Wisconsinites), the weather is perfect. We get an early start on Summer by going in May. Usually the beginning of May for my Birthday and The Kentucky Derby. The pools are open, and not overly crowded. Going in October extends the Summer for us. Again the pools are open, weather is great. We have also been to L.V. in December for our Anniversary. Not as warm and most pools not open, but some are for the "Northerners". Would like to try NYE one time. Have been in L.V. for Halloween a few times, that is fun. We went one time in September, it was a tad to hot, shoes we sticking to the blacktop streets. I could not imagine the Summer months in Vegas. Way to hot for me! We will be in L.V. next week! Whatever the weather, it has to be better than January & February in Wisconsin!!:woohoo:

I've been in Vegas December, March, June, September.

I prefer December (Winter) the most since I just love Christmas and all the decorations, etc. Cosmo's ice rink, NYNY's Christmas tree, etc.
That's followed closely by March, where the weather is nice (IMO).
Don't really like September as it's damn hot!!

I usually go the last week in March for my b-day, and then mid/late October when it's getting cooler.
