I was comped a Terrace Studio, premium view for three nights. Will be in town for AVN. Usually stay at Hard Rock but the smoke really got to me last year. They seriously need to do a better job with their filtration system. I know there will be smoke in casinos and I've accepted it but Hard Rock felt way extra smoky.

Also how is the slot floor at Cosmo? I played a lot there last year. Wondering how it is a year later.

Once you stay at Cosmo in a terrace suite, it is tough to stay anywhere else. The slot floor at Cosmo is my favourite.....great selection of games and excellent cocktail service. Fabulous dining selection. I could honestly spend a whole trip in Cosmo without leaving the building...I don't but I could. I never find the casino too smoky...ventilation is good. If you want to get water, liquor etc for your room, Walgreens is just across the walkway from the second floor at Cosmo. Enjoy your stay!

Thanks! I forgot to ask about nearby drug stores as I will need some distilled water for my CPAP machine.

As others as have already, once you stay in a room with a terrace and with fountain view, it's hard not to stay there again. You have Walgreen's right across the street. Enjoy!

Stay in the boulevard Tower it will give you fast access to the strip. There is a Walgreens just across the walkway bridge and down the escalator.

I've spent a couple trips not leaving the building. Well, I do go out the front door by starbucks to warm up.. does that count? When I do leave it isn't for very long. Theres plenty of slots to keep me entertained, I seem to run out of money before machines I want to play. Terrace studio is one of my favourite rooms... I don't even care which way it faces. I would bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper and end up in boulevard tower though, just in case. I find it loud, I have never needed or wanted them in the other tower though.

Best slot selection eventhough casino is small they have all the latest slots and some good oldies mixed in. High limit room has slots that have multi denom with bets as low as $2.50 plus little snacks in there. Studio is better than 1br if you like a tub you can lay in like my better half. Buffet not so great and for me I'm not a fan of the restaurants except Scarpetta, secret pizza and block 16 because they are more asian inspired and I'm a simple food person. Chelsea tower gym is better and Boulevard pool is better IMO. One of the best places on the strip in my opinion. Identity is an odd system to figure out with points always falling off but it doesn't bother me.Enjoy

    Adore Cosmo, it's spoiled me!

On distilled water, there is an elevator IN Cosmo that goes to a small hotel, the jockey club. Drops you in their parking lot, and there is a tiny convenience store. They might have distilled water. A staff member should be able to tell you...just ask about the jockey club convenience store.

Enjoy your trip down the rabbit hole...you are about to enter a magical place!

Across from cosmo is ph and you can take the bridge from cosmo to it and there’s a Walgreens if you need anything literally a 5 minute walk

Jaleo has a great lunch offer of 3 tapas for $25 (plus Paella for an additional 7)

Great food. Mayor Plaza cocktail is pretty amazing too.

Stayed in a Terrace Studio a few years ago on the 48th floor of the West Tower (or whatever it is called now) with an amazing view of the fountains! My only complaints were that the elevators were very slow, and the bed was too hard. Outside of that, it was an awesome experience! Seeing the fountains from my own balcony was cool, even though I couldn't hear the music. Definitely give the Secret Pizza place a try. It gets mixed reviews, but I really like their pizza!

Cosmo is one of the hotels that gives you points not just for gambling, but for every "spend" at their resort. Make sure you charge to the room or turn in your receipts for all of your spending there. This would include the spa, shops and restaurants.

See about a possible upgrade to a terrace suite. The terrace studio is not an authentic suite. It's adorable, but not too spacious and definitely NOT a "real" suite. Enjoy the terrace regardless and have a great time. Cosmo is a first-class resort and game selection is top-notch.

There is one guy who "claims" they renig on their comp offers after you check in, a couple days later. He also says they can and do adjust the slot hold on holidays, increasing the hold during busy periods. If you find you are losing too much at the slots, go to gaming and make an allegation. Never hurts.
