I've been away from the board for a really long time!! I still lurk every now and then. I have a slot related post today:

For all of you Lightning Link lovers I have a question for you -

What do you feel gives you the best payout bonuses?

-$5 bet on Penny denom, max bet
-$5 bet on 10 cent denom, non- high limit machine (bet x2)
-$5 bet on 10 cent denom high limit machine (bet x1)

I have recently been playing higher bets on these machines than I'm used to and I just noticed that while the major jackpot amounts might be waaaay higher in the high limit room - the Minor and Mini on the 10 cent denom is the same as a non-high limit machine.

Do you feel it's more likely to hit bigger bonuses on the non-high limit machine?

I'm curious as to your experiences.

I'd like to think it's all random, but it sure appears that when a certain denom is hot, it's hot. I like to fish around and play $25 each in penny, two penny, nickel, and dime denom. Whichever one I did best on, I'll play with the rest of the hundred. It feels like I'm pretty close to even with this method but have walked away several times up several hundred bucks. I've probably won't the most on nickels betting $3.75 or $6.25, but your mileage may vary.

i 100% believe it’s better to play dimes ($5 a spin) on a NON high limit one...I’ve won way more minors and majors doing that than on the high limit ones (where dimes $5 a spin is the MINIMUM)...which I’ve NEVER popped a major (because it’s usualky like $5000+)

Hi Tim! Glad to see you’re still around. My thoughts are the same...that high limit Major is hard to get!

In general, the % hold/payout varies by a percent or so as you move up in denominations. Casino's can do what they want (within limits), but that seems to be the general opinion.
