If you can increase it to 18% you have a winner too.

    1) The stickman should never pass you the dice with 7 or Craps (2,3,12) showing

    2) some dice sets work or appear to work if you set the top to 7....it all depends on the plan (if any) that the shooter has.

At some tables I have seen near fisticuffs for guys playing the don't or rooting against the shooter. I don't advocate that behavior but at one of my locals it is "strongly recommended" by some of the "old guard" that you don't play "the don't" at that table!

If I spend countless hours perfecting my dice throw I don’t think I’m going to care what others at the table think about me. I’d probably want to play on an empty table too.

I agree!! As long as the shooter is rolling winning numbers and making me and others at the table money, he can take as much time as he needs!!

    I’ll go one step further:
The longer the shooter takes, the more comps you earn

I just wish that craps actually earned decent comps.

Bingo. It makes me laugh when "dice influencing doubters" post Youtube videos of jackasses who claim to be dice influencers but obviously aren't as proof that it can't be done. If I could do it, I sure as hell wouldn't be posting videos of it on Youtube to get the casinos all hot and bothered and instituting countermeasures. As you point out, a real dice influencer, if there is such a thing, would be playing alone or at a nearly empty table (much like a card counter) in order to have maximum time with the dice in his/her hands. They also wouldn't be standing there screwing around with the dice endlessly like all of the wannabes do.

Is dice influencing really possible? Well, theoretically, yes. If you can deliver the dice in such a way that they hit exactly the same spot in exactly the same way (orientation, etc.) every time (even if they hit the rubber pyramids), and no one bumps the table, and the air currents are constant, etc. etc etc., they will come up on the same faces every time. Is that level of precision possible? I highly doubt it. But as others have noted, that level of precision isn't necessary to achieve a statistically significant advantage. It's impossible to prove that DI is impossible, and no one who can actually do it would be willing to prove that they can for reasons stated above. So there we are.

I actually prefer one other player at blackjack, two more at most... and I prefer the two-deck shoe to a double-deck pitch game.
Packed table? Hardly worth counting at all, although I'll still notice significant runs of high or low cards in a given hand.

Craps and casinos have been around for what 200 years? If craps was a "beatable" game, I would bet that SOMEONE at one of the 5,000 casinos in the world would have figured it out by now...some knucklehead posting a Youtube video isn't going to be the thing that tips them off.

Going to close this thread down now. It veered off the original question quite awhile ago.
