Made emerald Nov 2018, had over 15400 tier pts. As of this am I have 0. Guess they dont want anyone to play at Boyd anymore and they surely dont appreciate the customers who made them what they are.

Got the email today... checked my account... went from 1289 TC to 532 TC. Whew! With that head start, I should be able to get to Sapphire again for 2020 during my next trip.

It's like talking to my 18-month grandson. I know I am feeding the trolls that are pissing on Boyd just to piss, but in the off chance that there is any interest in anybody actually paying attention...

    Capture.JPG

TIER CREDITS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE ZERO (unless you've played at Boyd in the last three days)

I also received an E-mail today, but it says nothing about carryover credits. Not saying that others may or may not have received a different E-mail, but this is the entirety of the one I received.

    Capture.JPG

And like I do with my 18 month grandson, as long as there is at least one adult in the room, I am going to my Man Cave to watch TV so that I don't bruise my skull slamming it into a wall.

I don't know about anyone else, but...

    - I did not receive the email until yesterday, i.e. after the fact.

    - The email mentions an open-to-interpretation "Tier Credit balance reset" instead of the clearer "your tier points have been reset to zero" -- I assume b/c it sounds bad.

    - The email makes no mention of any make-up, carryover, we f*cked up, or whatever you want to call them points.

    - The email says to log-in to check my account, but the Boyd website is down again. I've heard that the hamster that runs the wheel that powers Boyd has died.

I haven't been to a Boyd casino in so long that my status is probably DIS-connected!

I heard more than once that whatever status you had after the conversion in August you would retain for 2019, both in postings and also directly from a player’s club representative at Sam’s Town in December. In my household, the one who was still a Sapphire at the end of 2018 is now Ruby (online this morning). We did earn comps through B Connected points in December but apparently no more, at least until we earn 750 Tier for 2019.

I’m not ragging on Boyd, just reporting my experience.

VPDeuces: what were your sapphire card final tier credits as of end of 2018?

I think what should have been said to all is that after conversion in August tier status would remain until end of year, then depending on where your tier credit total fell within the new levels would determine what tier you would be on first of 2019.

If after conversion and end of year tier credits were under 750, then would probably drop to ruby
If over 750, then should have remained sapphire, and I would try and get it changed. Tier credits would still drop to 0 either way.

Yes, you should be Sapphire and they can fix it for you like they did for me and my buddy.

It will show 0 if you haven't played this year since we don't know how long it will take the carryover to take effect. I have 734 but that is based on what I have earned since 1/1.

Forntier point carryover—They told me yesterday it would be about 15 February but we’re saying end of February in lieu of recent promises which didn't pan out
