Market st cafe is my #1 as well.
I am pretty good at complainin, but they don't give me much to complain about.
Tuna salad on sourdough, OMG I would kill for that right now.
Cole slaw made with pineapple, that shit is good too.

You'd have to head over to the Suncoast, but they have a Dupar's at that location, so at least they are still around.

My current favorite is Gordon Ramsey's Fish & Chips in the Linq Promenade. I would be disappointed, if that were gone. Also, I would be bummed if In N' Out Burgers disappeared. We don't have any in the midwest, so the only time I get to have their burgers is when I visit Vegas or Reno.

I have to agree with others that Mon Ami Gabi would be a bummer. I'm sure I'd get over it and find somewhere new, but eating on the patio there has become a habit for every trip over the last several years. I'd miss it.

For everyone else's sake, I refuse to name which restaurants I like in Vegas. I am the Kiss of Death when it comes to restaurants. Every time I like a restaurant, it goes. Every. Single. Time. I'm keeping my mouth shut from now on!!!

Carnevino is exactly what came to mind. It was my first vegas steakhouse and had the best lamb chops I’ve ever tasted.

I’d be disappointed if Julien Serrano or Momofuku closed, but not sure about bummed.

If MAG closed then where would I say every year that this is the year I’m going, and never actually do?

I came here to say the same thing! I’ll add Ellis Island to my list. We have to go there at least once a trip.

You and my wife both! She has lost so many of her favorites here at home it isn’t even funny. I still remember the first time it happened after we were married. We went to this well known, popular, and locally somewhat famous Chinese restaurant (Goldfiish Garden for those in my area) that was a staple for many years and were shocked to find it closed for good! We got a good scare when Lotus of Siam closed for a while due to roof damage.

We've had so many favorite eats close during our 20+-year Vegas run -- Sushi King, Rosemary's, Buccaneer Bay Club, Rochat's seemingly entire empire, Nobhill Tavern ... on and on and on. Vegas is change.

I'm still pissed off over that one!!!

And they have never put anything in that corner since that wasn't a bust.

In already sad that one of Komex locations closed! (So now on Sunday’s I can’t have Komex at all!)
If the last Komex closed it’d suck because I can’t get Korean/Mexican fusion anywhere else!

Was very bummed when N9NE Steakhouse and Olives closed, but I have gotten over it.

Now, if the Pyramid Café were to close, I would definitely be TOTALLY bummed!!!! We stayed at the Luxor for our first trip in 2008, and fell in love with their breakfast, and it is still my favorite non-buffet place for breakfast in Vegas. We make it a point to have breakfast there on every trip (if possible) regardless of where we are staying. Was a bit bummed when they stopped being open for 24 hours.

Have none of y'all bemoaning old-school diners ever enjoyed Vicki's Diner?

Lakeside (especially because of the outside seating). Lakeside was one of my favorite restaurant experiences. Similarly, I really enjoyed La Cave and many of the other restaurants at the Wynn. On the other hand, if Andrea's closed at the Wynn I wouldn't care. I've stayed across the strip and I never got the "omg, I'd die if they closed vibe"...maybe Sushi Samba at V/P (but it's a chain). Also, I too like Grand Luxe but it's a Cheescake Factory with better (slightly) tasting food.

My girlfriend also loves GR fish n chips. I’ll go with Giordano’s since I love Chicago pizza.

I absolutely loved Kokomo's. I thought their prime rib was amazing. It was huge, delicious and you could cut it with a fork. :feedme:

What was the Italian place at Mirage, back in the corner to the right of the Brazilian joint?

I think you are talking about Onda. I ate there once and thought it was very good.
