I was cleaning out the upstairs linen closet this weekend and found these bad boys! While I really like the Cromwell, I definitely miss the Barbary Coast. It was the first place I ever stayed at in Las Vegas and will always have a place in my heart.

I have one of those from Gold Coast and still use it to pack shower gel.

I still have those, too. Stayed there in 2004. The room was nice but very NOISY at night from outside traffic.

BC was my favorite for a really long time.
I think I still have bottles like that from the Gold Coast as well.
I even had a silly little crush on a BJ dealer there for a good while.

Loved the Barbary Coast. My all time favorite casino.

Took my daughter there on her 21st birthday. She didnt exactly care for it like I did but we damn sure had fun!!

Also took her to the old osheas, casino royale, slots a fun and the ho.

Pretty upscale trip for me but you know, with your daughter and all you need to have some decorum.

That is a thread topic worthy of it's own!
I wonder just how many of us have had crushes on particular dealers...

I remember hearing that the coffee shop there featured a great coffee cake. Too bad I never got there to try it.

We hit that hot dog cart first thing every trip. It was something like $1 for a hot dog and ticket for draft beer at the bar.

We only "found" the "Victorian Room" our 3rd trip. We would go ask where it was and then not find it. Couple of tipsy idiots. Found it the last trip though. Loved it!

No, he cannot be serious. We all know that Chuck Norris does not ride elevators; the elevator rides around Chuck Norris.

    This for me.

Several times in 2009, along with drinking at that bar that ran through the casino before we ate.

I stayed at the Brabary Coast quite a few times. Good room, good food, good price, and great location.

I was having breakfast there one morning, and Archie Karas (the gentleman who almost broke the bank at Binion's) was sitting across from me. He wasn't looking overly prosperous that day.

Was our go to casino/hotel in our early Vegas trips. Loved the location, restaurant, easy room access, etc. My wife hit her 1st Royal Flush there when we didn't even really know what video poker was. Held a suited 10/Ace if that tells you anything. We reminisce about the place all the time.

My first trip I lost most of my $300 bankroll on the first day. My Mom saved the trip by wiring me money to the Western Union at the Barbary Coast.
