Echoing others here Mike, really amazing TR. Appreciate you taking us along too, which I know can be difficult when you're enjoying Vegas as well as hanging out with others. I see some big promises by a few forum "celebrities" for epic TRs which seem to always fall short (too much build up which never seems to deliver ironically), but you always seem to have a kickass TR and then some! Love seeing all the pictures which gets me through the mundane days until my next trip haha.

Excited for your next report whenever that is, thanks again!

So a little after 4:00 pm I started my strip walk to take my sunset pics and I sent @Retrobabble a one word text “Drinks?”, and it was on. I figured we were both in town for one more night so why not meet up and have a couple more drinks, food and good times on the strip.

We met up at Nine Fine Irishmen @ NYNY. This is one of my favorite places in Vegas. Even if I wasn’t of Irish lineage I would still love love Nine Fine Irishmen.

Our bartender was Dave and he was great. I had my go to drink, a perfectly poured Black and Tan. Damn good!! Retrobabble had some kind of a cider drink that really looked good as well. We split an order of Fish and Chips. It was excellent. Any time I can use Malt Vinegar is a fine occasion indeed.

 

After NYNY we decided to stroll down to Caesars to have a Mai Tai in the lounge that we had the same drink at several days ago. Here are some pics along the way from NYNY to Caesars.

After the best Mai Tais ever we made our way to Palazzo where Retrobabble was a good sport and waited a few minutes for me to go to the Grazie desk and pick up my new Grazie Gold card that I earned the other day.

 

We then made our way to Mirage and putzed around there for a bit.

 

After Mirage we made our way to Caesars then across the strip and checked out the Cromwell, where Retrobabble continued her good luck on the 4D slots winning a quick $65 on a game that escapes me at the moment. Then we went to Paris where Retrobabble took care of something at the Total Rewards desk. We waited in the gift shop for a terminally slow checkout clerk to ring up two desperately needed bottles of water. After that ordeal we decided to go to Momofuku for one order of Pork Belly Rolls and then got some donuts to munch on while watching the fountain show on the terrace of my room. We munched two de-effing-liscious donuts, the chocolate one is mine for breakfast. After a couple of fountain shows Retrobabble had to get going and I walked her to the front door of Cosmo. It was tough ending such a fun time with such an amazing Vegas compadre but we both travel tomorrow and had to call it a night. Retrobabble just texted me and told me the tram rides went quick and she made it back to Delano.

Last fountain show of the trip. Heavy sigh. This trip was incredible on so many levels. I’m not nearly articulate enough to express how much @Retrobabble and @ardee contributed to this being the best week I’ve spent in all my years of coming to Vegas. 35, and then some, years coming to Las Vegas and this was undoubtedly my best trip ever. Not an ounce of hyperbole here. I lost a little money but that’s besides the point. Sharing the camaraderie of such genuinely nice and fun people is priceless and that’s really what I value the most.



I’ve got a hellacious day of travel tomorrow....ugh. All I want to do is get home, log on to my desktop & payoff my AMEX balance and sleep for about 12 hours.

After I have time to decompress, rest up & take care of a few things at home I’ll do a final write up of the best week in Vegas I’ve ever had. Soon after that I’ll begin planning my summer of 2019 trip!!!
