You grab your favourite beverage (even if it’s water) and head onto The Strip for a walk at dusk. No gambling; just sightseeing, people watching and drinking.

Best start and finish points? Time and distance unlimited...within reason!

For me it's the walk past Bellagio, cause you have to stop at the fountains, and the past Caesars and up to the Mirage to see the Volcano. I'm not sure of distance or time though. I'd love to hear what others have to say though!

For me the walk from Flamingo to Harrahs. Good people watching and plenty of places to refill if needed.

I love the walk from Cosmo past the fountains at the B all the way down to TI. Then I’ll take the overpass to V/P and work my way past all of the CET joints and finish up at pHo. I’ll usually stop and get a drink somewhere at Caesars, then one at Rhumbar at Mirage and then get a frozen drink at Numb at Harrah’s. This is my favorite part of the strip and it’ll usually take me a couple hours or so, depending on how long I spend watching the fountains.

I have a pretty extensive walk as a routine:
Aria (or WA) to Crystals, Cosmopolitan, exit onto the street, walk past Bellagio (fountains), prayer at CP, walk alone the Cesar fountain, Mirage (8pm volcano), TI, walk to Wynncore (ignore mall) and first rest. Exit into Palazzo, enter Venetian mall from the back and enjoy the gondolas and market square, exit Venetian through the main exit (avoid the lame walkway to the south) and then stay on the east side, all the way to MGM (if it’s hot go through Harrahs, Linq, Flamingo to Cromwell with only few yards exposed), cross to Bally, walk deep into the beast and cross through into Paris (dueling pianos and Le Cabaret and stripper BJ tables), exit to the south and go straight to MGM (I ignore PH and all the other clutter), cross over the Tropicana for a loop towards MB if I am super energetic, mostly cross to NYNY (I don’t enter) and walk along the sidewalk back to Aria (or WA) for a well earned dinner.

I like certain portions of the walk. I like in front of Bellagio as it can be a bit more spacious. I like in front of Mirage for the same reason. I used to like in front of Monte Carlo too, that was pre-renovation era, obviously... but even before the reno before this reno... back from 2013 and earlier. I also love to walk in front of NYNY and along The Park. On the opposite side I like to walk from Cromwell to Casino Royale. It makes me feel like that was what Vegas looked like years ago (narrower sidewalks with multiple entrances into what seems like the same building). I love to walk down The Linq too.

I usually park at the Park and walk to the Excalibur cross over to Tropicana and then down to the LinQ, Cross the street and then head back to the Park. About 7500 steps or about 1.5 hours give or take a few. Favorite rest spots. Between the drive ways by the Paris. The tables outside NYNY and Right out in front of margiritaville.

Standard loop out the front door of Paris, make a left. Cut through Planet Hollywood and surveil the strip malls on the way to the cross over to MGM. Wander through MGM then head over to Tropicana. To get back, cross over to NYNY (wander in and see what's what...was that here last time?) head over to Aria (bypassing Monte Carlo) and nose around in there before going to the Cosmo (for extended nosing around taking in retail options we'll never execute) , keep on to Bellagio (once again, we find ourselves embracing the artificial atmosphere of Las Vegas) then walk down to Caesars (which more often than not results in a cocktail or two), then back across the street to the Flaming Oh (and probably some playing), then over to Bally's (more playing) and the tunnel back to Paris.

That is, in fact, our standard walking loop. The first time we went to Vegas we did NYNY to Stratosphere and back ('cause you don't wanna leave anything unseen...). We don't get farther North than the Flaming Oh unless we're actually staying in that area.

I remember walking from from MB to Aria around 6am our first morning there. Neither of us could sleep.

Woke up - went down to the gardens out front of MB. Took some pictures. Decided to take a walk down the strip - weaving through hotels and such as we passed them.

Got breakfast at Aria - then walked back as the sun rose and went to the pools.

Only came across 1 drunk out front of NYNY and the cops were dealing with it, lol...

    That is extensive!
Sounds like at least 4-5 hours.
No workout in the gym needed after that walk.Maybe a nap.

I love walking everywhere in my hometown of NYC and I do the same in Vegas - I have walked all the way up to Stratosphere from Mid Strip (Bellagio, Aria etc) and down to the Las Vegas sign. I am also a speed walker, and I find all of those tourists spread 5 abreast, taking up an entire sidewalk and walking like they're being taken to the electric chair extremely annoying!

I agree Bellagio/Caesars. I also like the section from Park MGM and down through The Park. And third, Wynn to V/P.

As we most always stay at Lux, leave Lux via the moving sidewalk come out and walk across to Excalibur, then cut through NYNY over the walkway to MGM. Then East side of the strip up to PHO. Cross over to Bellagio and up the west side of the strip to Mirage. Then cross over to Venetian/Pelazzo before ending up at Wynn. Our favorite walk hands down. Usually by the time we hit Wynn we've partaken and are no longer walking straight. We have returned via the same path a few times but that usually does us in. The next time we will Uber back to Lux!

I start at either Ellis Island or the Boyd shuttle drop-off at the High Roller. If it's Ellis Island, I'll walk W. on Flamingo to Stage Door, through the Cromwell, Flamingo, the LInq, Harrah's and Casino Royale on the E. side of LV Blvd.. (I really have no interest in Venetian/Palazzo or Wynn/Encore, no offense to anyone. The OP said no gambling, I don't gamble at any of those 4 anyway!) Then I'll cross LV Blvd. to Caesars, Mirage, TI, and maybe walk all the way to Circus-Circus.

If I start at the High Roller, I'll go through the Linq Promenade, turn left through the Flamingo, Cromwell, Bally's, Paris, PH, MGM. Cross over at NYNY, and up the W. side to Bellagio.

From PH to Wynn is a great walk, but I'd highlight the Cromwell to Harrah's part of that as being my favorite walk on the Strip. I really did enjoy my walk from Caesars to Aria on my last trip though, it just feels a bit more removed from the action than on the other side of the Strip.
