I used the ATM at the Harrah's monorail stop back in March. I think the fee was around $4.95, but the maximum withdrawal was $300, and it paid out in $20's, no hundos in those machines.

Now THAT I would be interested in. I do have a LOC at Paris and Flamingo and don't really want to open any more. However at times I have decided to bop to Rio or up to Harrahs and then end up running out of money. Would be nice to be able to keep playing without either paying a high fee or having to run back to another hotel.

If you belong to a credit union, check their "shared branches" site. Most credit unions use them. In Vegas, there are a couple that my credit unions share transactions with, where you can do almost any banking needs like at your credit union. There may or may not be fees attached, so check first though. There are 8 Silver State Schools Credit Unions and a InTouch Credit Union around Vegas. The InTouch one is near Sunset Station (May be others). The Silver State Schools Credit Unions are near Aliante Casino, near Suncoast, Green Valley Ranch, South Point, one just east of the airport on Tropicana, and a couple others. Those are the ones that my credit union(s) list as shared branches. Yours may have others listed, or none.
Just another avenue to check out for possibly getting cash with no or minimal cost.

Why not? It seems like opening a LoC at the place you are staying at is a great solution.

Stop hating on Vegas ATMs people, they're usually the only machine that consistently pays out for me!

Yeah, but when the ATM has a lower payout percentage than the slots on the floor ... ...

    I am usually at Paris.
& do have a small line there. The additional lines do provide more danger in going over ones preset limit. It can be so much more tempting. I would just prefer one single line usable (and able to be repaid) at all locations within a casino family.

There's a BOA ATM outside TMobile arena. Withdrawal only... but i doubt anyone here is looking to make any deposits.

Check to see if your bank is on the All point ATM network. Free withdrawals at Walgreens and monorail ATMs on the strip

Maybe this has already been mentioned but with the way the casinos really want you to spend your money at their place why don't some offer no fee ATM? Maybe place a certain minimum to qualify for no fee like $100+. Seems like this would be a cheaper way for them to lure in gamblers vs some of the other ways they use??

Because they have lines of credit for that. They figure most people are buying dinner using a card or charging to a room. For gambling they want lines of credit. The lowest at most places is $3000 which is more than most peoples daily withdrawal limit. Play the ATMS are likely a turnkey operation by a 3rd party so they’ve got to pay the casino for the space plus the network provider that actually handles the funds transaction.

Some casinos may not own the ATM due to laws in some states (I believe) because think about it that's free money. One time I hit the ATM 6 times in one day, also I really don't see the big deal in carrying up to $5,000 cash on me for a casino trip lol

Ask your bank I they are on the Allpoint ATM Network .If they are, all ATMs in CVS and Walgreens are free for you to use Nationwide includiin the ones on the strip . This network is also on the ATMs at the monorail stations.

Try opening a checking account at a bank that does the Allpoint ATM network. I have a separate bank account at Fifth-Third bank, which I specifically use to stash money for traveling (mostly for Vegas). I get fee-free ATM use at all Allpoint ATMs, which are easy to find in drugstores, convenience stores, etc.

I agree...or some nominal fee like $1. This is the "price gouging" that some of us complain about. Not to sound like a grumpy (30-year-) old lady, but I guess I really don't understand why they have to charge us ridiculous prices for everything.

Pretty sure the last time I used an ATM at a Vegas casino, it was like an $8.99 fee or some craziness like that.

I also wasn't impressed about paying $10 for 4 Advils in a casino shop.

If you don't want to open a line of credit, you can always cash an electronic check at the cage.

I know CET properties used to charge no fee for this. But Harrah's Laughlin started charging a 2% fee, but give it back to you in free play. Harrah's Ak-Chin charges no fee. I'm not sure what CET properties in Vegas do now.

What I was told is all Nevada now charges a fee for electronic check cashing. I was not given any free play in Vegas. If a person is a high diamond, think over 80,000 tier, than different rules. Won't apply to me so don't remember exactly

Ak-chin is in Arizona and they are still cashing electronic checks with no charge
