    My Trip Report

    Hello Everyone,

Having recently discovered this site and joined up, I thought I would start posting some of my trips up here. I am a Philly based guy, so AC is my haunt (though I do make it to Vegas 1 to 3 times a year). CET Diamond player; mostly BJ, Poker & Roulette, and spend all my trips at their properties.

Will be going to hit the casino this week, do a little bit of sports betting and general revelry. I do this fairly frequently and complete the weekends with some time spent in the nightclubs.

I see some great trip posts on here, so hopefully you folks get some enjoyment out of it!

Bally's is an underrated spot! Love the Garden tower, and often with a $20 bill + some slight of hand, you may be able to get a Garden Suite. I'll be at Harrahs this Tuesday through Friday

Have a great time! As for rooms, I'm pretty easy to please, especially when they're comped ;). But I agree, the Garden Tower is a ok!

    Knock'em dead!

Just wondering, what's so good about the Garden Tower? More recently renovated?

I haven't stayed at Bally's AC yet but hope to try it in 2019.

    Burn,

The Garden tower has some rooms that overlooks a very nice courtyard at Ballys, and you can actually get in through the courtyard. I maintain that if you can get it, staying there in the summer is the best room in AC! Beautiful plants/garden area that goes right up to the boardwalk right by the Wild West Bar/Sportsbook.

The rooms are a little nicer as well it seems. Some have a poor/obstructed view of the ocean, but others are great! Choose Bally's > Caesars if you are picking standard rooms. Caesars Centurion tower is very nice indeed, and usually there is a complimentary upgrade in store.

For extended stays, choose Harrahs & get an Atrium suite... You will thank me :)

Just checked in. Had a comped Oceanfront Tower Premium room, but tipped 20 on check in and mentioned I prefer the Atrium tower suites. Got a room on the 14th floor, which is highly desirable! Floors 14, 15 & 16 have been remodeled and are the best CET rooms in AC I reckon.

800 sq feet, hardwood floors, a pull out couch, 3 end tables, a coffee table, a dining table, 3 chairs, 2 wingbacks and an ottoman. Very well appointed and clean.

Grabbing a beer, and some slots are next up.

Big fan of AC too, I visit when I can get up there from DC and play BJ at CET properties as well.

    Have a kick ass time!

Thanks for the heads up regarding Bally’s Garden Tower and the Atrium Suites. Looks like a great room. Haven’t seen any photos of the sportsbook at Harrah’s. Are you going to venture out to the other casinos?

Wanted to give everyone a better sense of one of the things that makes this room cool. They have this huge bay window in the front with movable shades, so you can sort of open up the front. Makes the room seem bigger, and an interesting touch.

So having not eaten dinner, I was hungry but luckily, Harrahs has legitimately good, and modestly priced options now having opened up 5 casual restaurants in the last year or so, including: Starbucks, Guy Ferri's Guy's Sammich Joint, Pin Up Pizza, and Costal Craft Kitchen. So plenty to eat, in addition to the Diamond lounge, and a Tonight I grabbed a burger. 12 dollars for a 1/3rd lbs, +3 for bbq bacon burger... worth it.

I saw a request for the sportsbook, so I got a picture. Having played 2 hours or so of low stakes blackjack, I was up 100 dollars or so. With the profit, I placed a few anti-Cowboy bets for Thursday. Plan on hitting Bally's and Caesars this week, but not sure if I'll go to non-CET yet. We shall see.

Lastly, grabbed a few pictures of the main entrance with Christmas tree, and the surprisingly fun to drink at lobby bar (cleverly named: lobby bar).

Getting an early night, and hitting the pool in morning. Harrahs does have a year round pool/nightclub (cleverly named: The Pool) in a giant 80° glass dome. Looking forward to a swim in this 30° weather!

Looks nice! I always wondered about those Atrium Suites. Might try for that upgrade myself next time we're there!

The wife and I are fans of the garden tower at Bally’s. We’ve had more crappy views than good ones but the rooms are decent.

Here are pics of the garden tower mini suite.

We're based out of Harrah's. I can't stand the Atrium Tower Suites because they have that full wall window looking out into the hallway. I expect to be walking around my room nude, or at least in my underwear. I don't mind giving a show, but my other half doesn't take kind to it. Privacy, please.
We like the Bay Tower. Nice rooms and great bathrooms. The Water Tower rooms are a little newer but they cut down on the size/luxury of the bathroom so the Bay Tower remains our first choice. On occasion, I've stayed at Bally's. I'll have to try their Garden Tower rooms. I'm always put into the Tower rooms...meh.

Garden Tower mini-suites are very nice. This morning I got up, and hit the gym for some light cardio. Showered up, and down to the pool

Helicopter just landed on the roof of the Golden Nugget parking garage and was met by a limo. Interesting...
