Mr & Mrs Vegas Take A Road Trip To Vegas

Can’t even begin to do this half moon justice with a cell phone camera and a moving vehicle. Soooo very glad Mr. V took over driving!

Wow! I can respect a good road trip! I am so enjoying the pics as go through the different states.

 

Currently in Mesquite, Nevada!
Here are the pics I grabbed along the way.
Stopped to stretch our legs. Won $3.20 on a KISS machine in The Eureka. While we were inside, the sun rose in a glorious fashion.

 

Appears to have been a bad accident heading north on I-15. Backed up 3 miles. People waiting by cars, stretching. Good luck if you are heading toward Salt Lake City.

I live in South Texas. I used to drive to Vegas. It took about 24 hours ( 12 hours each day X 2 days ).

My scenery was, of course, entirely different. So I am excited to be able to vicariously make your route.

The only part that I recognized was the Virgin River Casino. I took my son to play golf in Mesquite. I played video poker at the Virgin River bar (drinking Coca Cola). It was a much older crowd of locals. I never figured out where the river was. And I doubt that there were any virgins at the bar.
