I have taken the WAX before from the airport to downtown before. I think it is the 3rd terminal.
I see that Frontier arrives at the 3rd terminal. Sounds like I should be OK.
But we have to collect baggage this time. I think that's in another terminal.
Last time we picked up baggage we ended up on a shuttle bus to the 3rd terminal.
Am I correct about the 3rd terminal for Frontier arrival and what is the quickest way to ground zero (WAX pick up) from the Frontier baggage claim? Thanks in advance.

WAX goes to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3

We flew Frontier this past August, and they arrive at Terminal 3. Terminal 3 has it's own baggage claim area. Take the Red Line Tram to the baggage claim. As far as the WAX pickup point, sorry, can't help you.

WAX pickup at Terminal 3 is on the 2nd level, not the zero level.

I've done this several times the last couple years and I still get confused as I have arrived at T1 and T3. I agree you go down escalators when you land but then have to go to the right and back up. You also have to cross over the roadway to a middle section for the bus stop. It's not very well labelled. Just a small sign.

I think level 0 is to the walkway over to the ride share area.

Pretty sure it's been this way for quite a while. The CX only picks up at T1

It's always serviced both terminals it just doesn't specify it at the top of the schedule. Notice the fine print at the bottom of the schedule. "Trips serve Terminal 1 - 2 to 4 minutes before arriving at Terminal 3. Also "Trips depart from Terminal 1 4 to 6 minutes after departing Terminal 3."

Edit to add: Terminal 1 Zero level
    Terminal 3 Departures level

I arrived on Hawaiian Airlines to T3 everytime..
Pick up luggage and walk out the curb on your left passing the car rental shuttles.
The Wax bus stop there for downtown...
You will be a second aboard after the driver..

above is accurate. the CEX bus also stops at terminal 3, in the same place as the WAX, not terminal 1 as someone else mentioned, so you can take whichever comes first,
