So I bought the 5 day monorail reward not looking at the fine print which says must be redeemed by December the 8th 2018 even though we don't plan on using this reward until December the 10th. We do arrive in Vegas on December the 8th, so what should I do ?? Thanks so much...

You can cancel the reward. When you click on the reward in your wallet, there is a link to cancel it. Then just try to rebook it closer to your trip.

Exactly this. The monorail rewards all but never sell out so it should be no problem.

You need to email support to cancel the monorail reward but it won't be a problem.

You can also do it by phone. On the confirmation email, there is a number you can call to cancel the reward. I've cancelled monorail twice in the past. One this past month because I bought it too soon. The clerk at the monorail said that MyVegas loads batches of these all the time and that it's best to get the reward a couple weeks before you come.

You do arrive on the 8th so go to the monorail booth and get / buy the passes.
They are not actually active until that first swipe.
Non-activated monorail passes are valid for a year from purchase date.

So get them on the 8th and use them as planned starting in the 10th

Or email support and get a refund.
