    Thank you!

We are just back in the room now. Strip House has defeated us!

But bloody hell it was outstanding!!!! The food was incredible! Better than Hells kitchen. Just wow. Only slight thing was service maybe wasnt as top notch as some of the other places. Slow seating even with reservation, slow drinks etc. I would however, want to come back asap!!!

The ambiance was awesome, upscale yet allmost old fasioned? Its where I would imagine mobsters would eat.

    Lots of old photos

Even the napkins have dancing girls on!

I went for the 14oz dry aged rib eye. It was perfect.

We shared 2 side, strip house potatoes and truffle creamed spinach. Both fantastic.

We were sooooooo full but had to check out dessert menu...
    20181025_212247.jpg

We decided as we were in Vegas we had to have the famous 24 layer cake, but to take away for later :)
    20181025_231216.jpg

This thing is huge... seriously it could be dessert for 4-6 people, no joke.

To summarise - Strip House was outstanding.

Glad you liked it. I've long been a big advocate of the Strip House. It is consistently outstanding, but without the fanfare of some of the bigger name places.

And their creamed spinach is probably the best I've ever had...

The comments about this place might explain why the $100 diamond dinner is excluded from here, afaik. Great stuff!

Wow, that cake!! Strip House is going on my list too! But man, I envy you younger people!! If I was in Vegas for 20 days and ate like that every day I would go home 20 lbs heavier. As it is, when I go away for 2 or 3 nights, and try not to over do too much I still gain 5 pounds! :feedme::rolleyes::oops:

I will have to eat vicariously through all of your pictures!! LOL

I so appreciate your trip report! However, your food photos have kicked my "so called" diet in the butt.

Driving tip from my Australian relatives who travel the world Whatever country you're in, when you're driving, keep your outside elbow pointed at the center line. It worked for my in your country!

Been following along. Great report! Everytime I read "21 days" in the title I let out a little "luuucckkyyyy.....".

Was looking up steak houses for my last trip and came across Striphouse. Didn't end up going. But your pics just clinched it for my next trip!

PS. I'm totally stealing your 24-layer cake to go idea! Clutch move!

    Morning!!!! Last 3 days whooooooo!!

Lots of things happend today. Firstly for @bubbakitty the PH room number was 1772. Loved it.

Thanks for the tips @grosx2 - we saw the PH host, he zero'ed our bill inc resort fees wahooooo!

Ok next bit. Checked in at Ballys, diamond area, asked the standard, "any upgrades available?" Got "is an executive suite ok?".... errrr yes!!!! Lol.

    Look at that tub
    20181026_123812.jpg

    Love this room!!

Ok... Cosmo Update. FINALLY lol. We have been chasing it up via text to the host and finally got speaking to "risk management" yesterday. They made us an offer of $500 to cover the meds and inconvienience. I declined and asked them to increase it to the cost of our stay at cosmo in total which wasnt too much more, about $650 all in. They agreed. +1 has to go and sign a release form and go over there to get the cash as we dont want a cheque.

Also, I need to admit something, i had cake for breakfast .

If the cake you ate was that 24 layer one, all is OK as calories get factored in on purchase no matter when eaten.

If it was an ADDITIONAL cake, you are in TROUBLE girl!!! :D

Lucky for you that calories consumed in Vegas do not count. ;)

Hope you enjoy the last few days of your trip.

Awesome room! I usually share a room w/my sisters - should get that room and make everyone uncomfortable taking a bath :evillaugh:
Also cake = pastry in my book so totally acceptable breakfast.

Since youre at Ballys, you must try the deep dish pizza at Giordanos. Or have dinner at Giadda's across the street.

Just checked out of Bally’s. They were super nice with free upgrades even on a comped room, it was quiet! Very pleasantly surprised by my stay.

Also recommend Giordanos ,but not if you’re in a hurry- the pizza takes 45min to an hour for the deep dish, but well worth it. I just finished mine. Yummmm
