If you’re purely taking about expected value, taking the retail value is the better deal. Though that said I usually cash in the points I earn gambling for free play and then spend the other points on room charges or upgrades. I’ve got a ton saved up so I’m looking to upgrade next month.

Has anyone tried changing their password? (perhaps I haven't found it yet?)

I've been on the new site around the time this thread started.

edit: nevermind, I finally found it. Identity pull-down menu -> FAQs -> Membership, and one of them has a forgot password link.

If you get $100 in Freeplay, it is worth $100 in FP.
If you get $100 in resort credit, you get $100 in food, etc.

Only difference is you avoid tax on the food, etc.

So, in all reality - it does not matter. Unless you never play slots anyways, or you do not want to eat there.

Just logged on to the new Cosmo site and found I am no longer Sterling status. They have dropped me to Velvet status! Anyone else have their status changed? I sent Cosmo an email about it and am waiting on a response.

Should you not have dropped down? Your status only lasts a year and you need to earn the points to keep your status over the year. If you go into your recent activity and check your points, it should tell you if it's right or wrong. It will tell you what you earned each playing day over the year and it posts when you upgrade or drop status, I have both showing in mine.
(if you know all of this already, no, mine is fine) :D
