its a greasy treat for sure, and once is enough...my dad got a kick out of them as his grandmother and mother used to make them; they were from the day when you didn't waste food.
If we go there again this trip, we will try other things than that too, but its an experience

I love gribbines. My grandmother used to make them...and I make them sometimes when I find out I bought a rather fatty chicken.
Glad to see you found some 8/5 Bonus Poker...which is offered in every casino downtown EXCEPT the GN. One reason so many just won't play there.

The fruit is fig. And I agree, I liked it, but I expected to love it. Was heavy and got a little overwhelming.

For me, the chicken skins were one of my top 10 dishes anywhere, but the buddy I Vegas with had the same response as you, not nearly as big a fan as I was.

    Morning from day 11 here!

We skipped breakfast at GN, and checked out. Really great experience using URComped, I had 2 nights free and wasn't charged a resort fee either. I would highly recommend using them.

    Would I stay there again?

Yes but maybe only if comped.

The room itself was fine, not spotlessly clean however, some marks on the skirting boards and the bath/shower wasnt perfect either. The bathroom was tiny so maybe I would choose a different room type next time? We were in the Gold Tower and hear Rush is better. I love downtown for atmosphere, gambling, people watching and cheap eats and it was convienient staying there. But it wasnt worth the normal asking price to me. Thankfully it was free! Yay!

Ok, checked in at the Linq. We used the diamond line about 11am and no one even mentioned an early check in fee. Room is basic but clean, we stayed here before so know what to expect. Pool view this time and 11th floor but its not too loud.

Im hungry now. +1 has gone down to see all his convention buddies. Im chilling in the room as had some bad news that the smallest kitten didnt make it today. Still was torn about going home early but I called the Vet in the UK and they gave me some reassurance that theres not much I can do even If I'm home. Just dont feel like putting on smiles and small talk to meet and greet +1s friends right now. Hopefully I feel better later.

Better grab some food too. Maybe In N Out can cheer me up :)

Diamond is great. I once checked in at 6:30am at Caesars. No early check-in fees for diamond. Yay!

    Thank you all :)

Don't worry I will keep posting!

Just pigged out on In n Out. Secret menu style:

4x4 animal, cheese fries and neopolitan shake

Must say that shake was the bomb. Burger too messy tbh. Still all very good though, just best eaten in the privacy of your room so you can clean up after!!

Awe, so sorry about the kitten. I know what it feels like to want to rush home and be there, but I'm sure the vet is right, and that even if you were there, nothing more could be done.

Enjoy your time while you are there! You've been waiting a long time for it and you deserve it!

    BTW that shake looks amazing!
