Just hypothetical...let's say you are driving through Las Vegas and only had one hour to get something to eat, what dish would you go with?

I’d enjoy a breakfast of champions! A frozen baileys or two from O’Shea’s (assuming someone else was driving) and play some VP!

Or if I had to eat something it would be MAG quiche on the patio, enjoying the fountains.

I'd drive through Chinatown and eat at any of their restaurants. Lots of good places and fast too. Try the snow pea leaves with beef , pork, or chicken. Not the pods, the leaves.

Including parking the car and walking to the restaurant????

I don't really eat breakfast, so anything at Blueberry Hill would do.
For lunch, Duck wonton noodles at Pho Da Nang at Rio
For dinner, Prime Rib at Jerry's Nugget

You've kind of self-selected the field for fast food, or fast-casual at best.

+1 for MAG on the patio, there is just something magical about it.

I love the steak frites au poivre, so that's what I would be eating (with the "au poivre" on my fries, instead of the steak). And French beans.

It was just a hypothetical one-hour window. For all intents and purposes, let's make it a two hour window...

Yeah, probably Peppermill if it's night time. Most of my old school coffee shop favs are gone now. What I'd order? Oh.....that is a question. Depends on my mood. Might be eggs benny. Might be a special of the day. It depends on my mood.

Daytime....Ellis Island and get some kind of special. Steak special, breakfast special. Depends on my mood.

I've always been a fan of the grill room at the Revere at Anthem, and not just because off the view. Same for the grill at TPC Las Vegas. Still gonna be a rush given neither is EZ off-ramp close. Table 34 and Bootlegger and Chicago Joe's would work for lunch. Breakfast? I'm making my way to Omelet House Summerlin.

I haven't found the time yet, but I think I would finally try the Lobster mashed potatoes I've read about on this forum, from Mastro's Ocean Club. Pretty safe bet that I would like it!

If I only had a few hours in Vegas, eating would not be on the agenda, unless you count the olives in the Bloody Mary at the craps table.

For a quicky, I would do either Tacos El Gordo, Gordon Ramsey's Fish & Chips, Pizza Rock, or In N' Out Burgers. :feedme:

Tacos El Gordo - at open - otherwise 2 hours wouldn't be long enough (I second the Lengua/Tongue tacos)
Charlie Palmer for Cut of the Week - still haven't done this!
Bacchanal - pre-purchase the VIP to get a guaranteed reservation time...no silly waiting in line. - otherwise 2 hours wont be long enough
    In N Out Burger - cause it's fr*cking delicious
Hot Dog On A Stick because nothing fills a degen gambling drunk craving like a footlong corndog!
Isn't there a KoMex in Chinatown somewhere??? Damnnnnn that's good stuff!
