There were questions about the Penhouse as well. I am told they are looking for 10k loss. I personally think that is an overreach and if Derrick isnt using it i would do 2k ADT and above on non push 6k ADT and above on push wherein obviously its going to the two best arrivals for push dates.

If you wanted to drive 4k in theo i'm sure i could talk to my boss and do something like an IF he then we will type scenario. I will tell you in all honesty I have not called my larger players from CET because i am not certain if what i can offer them is commensurate. I mean i have a 20k \ day penny slot player.. i still am trying to wrap my head around what i could offer her to get her away from the strip.

The coperate offers that I have seen for the A players do not seem commensurate to that end i don't want to poo poo it because I am newish here and may be missing a big picture because its not like you walk in and get a training packet because host jobs are too variable.

The Golden Gate Suites are occasionally worth paying for, imo. Caught a half-price sale on Vegs.com a couple of years ago. Now, I'll just have to play bigger.

    Just kidding, won't happen :wink2:

I keep hoping they will take those smaller rooms and put an archway between two of them making for a bedroom and a sitting area. I've stayed at the D before and while the suites are very nice, I love the charm of the Golden Gate. Wish they would put a restaurant in. The view issue doesn't bother me at all. I wanted view I'd go someplace else. However, the restaurants that accept comps now are pretty awesome.

I agree, i just got Sushi from the Japanese place they partner with. Admittedly it was pretty good. Now i got delivery wich was limited so i hope the regular menu is more expansive. I really should be checking out these restaurants more than i am. And i should go see these shows we offer as well.

I just returned from a trip. I had the opportunity to meet Tim. If you're considering a trip, I highly recommend reaching out to him. He's as genuine in person as on this board.

RE: Food -- the new additions to the comp system are great! Last month I used them at Pizza Rock, and this month @ Bocho. Bocho was really good. will definitely go back.

I hope your trip went well. I have a question on the food options. Did you get a food voucher or just give them your One Card?

I gave them my One Card. However, I did go to the club desk to verify my food comps were loaded prior to making the trip down to the eatery.
With that said, I'm not sure if they were autoloaded at the start of the month, or if i needed to actually "activate" it with the players club.

Thanks for the info. It should already be loaded, I don't think you have to activate it through the player's club. I'll have to use it to try Pizza Rock for the first time.

I believe the El Cortez has an agreement with a few restaurants but I think you need to print a voucher through El Co for them.

Trophywife and I stayed in one of their original rooms last year. Very cool, too small for an extended stay, but for a night or two, cool. Old window opened onto Main St.
Casino was WAY TOO NOISY for us. But the younger crowd seemed to be having a hell of a time.
