Westgate totals out. There's a really good gift from Vegas, UNDER 62.5 Golden State. Declines the past couple years, 9-less for last year (58). They really don't care about the regular season. They'll finish good enough and turn it on when they have to. Bulls over 27.5. Went 0-4 vs Cavs. 100-1 to win the Central might even be worth a longshot. Bucks over 46.5, Won 44 last year. Big upgrade at coach, good off-season.11/10 division odds. Mavs over 34.5 76ers under 54.5. Not much depth, counting on a whole year of Embiid. The public likes overs on Lakers (48.5) and Spurs (43.5), yet Vegas hasn't adjusted.
Going to vegas next week to cash my MLB season wins and make some NBA season bets. I wish the Butler saga would get resolved! That would make it easier to make some win total decisions
Saw the Celtics last night on NBA TV playing Charlotte and if they stay healthy they will win the East, no doubt about it. they have a great coach and a real good bench. Hayward and Irving have to stay healthy all year,I am pretty sure, They should win 55 games .
https://www.masslive.com/celtics/index.ssf/2018/08/nba_overunder_win_totals_are_o.html I think this is up to date ??? I like the Celtics to go over 57.5
Just made my wagers for the upcoming season. here they are: Celtics UNDER 60 Mavs UNDER 35 Hornets OVER 35.5 Clips UNDER 38.5 Lakers (aka the LeBrons) UNDER 49.5 Pels OVER 43.5 Knicks UNDER 31.5 Kings UNDER 26.5 Kinda glad the season starts earlier now. I miss basketball. Just 10 days til tip off!!!
It will likely come down to injuries. If boston stays healthy, they should be best in the east. In the nba, with the secen game series format, it rarely pays to bet agai st the favorite. For fun, I looked at the longshota for the title. If I had to pick a plausible longshot, it would be denver at 75 to 1. I think they make the playoffs this year and are a team on the rise
I mean, the Warriors are still going to win it all, but I am still pretty proud of my longshot guess. Before the season, if you said I could get the number two seed in tjhe West at 75 to 1, I would have jumped on it (also would have thought you meant Houston or Utah, lol). Anywho, my final season wager resolved tonight. The final tally: 5 wins, 3 losses, and an 11% return! The three I missed were by double digits and I also had 3 winners by double digits. So my winnings really boiled down to two teams and that worked out well this year
