MyVegas Can I redeem a buffet reward to use for a different day?

Does anyone know if I am able to redeem a Buffet on one day and use another day? Here is my situation. I am staying at NYNY on a Saturday, then PH on Sun/Mon. The Bellagio lunch (M-F) buffet states that you need to stay at an MGM property. Would I be able to go to the Mlife counter at Bellagio on Saturday to redeem the lunch buffet for Monday? OR...would they allow me to redeem the reward on Monday and tell/show them I stayed at NYNY on Saturday?

Anyone been in this boat before that could opine?

No. You are allowed the day before and day after mlife stay confirmation for a reward. Purchase one that does not need a stay

 

@eaglejohn is spot on. Also the rewards are loaded onto your card and must be used within 24 hours I'm afraid.

 

So than in theory, wouldn't I be able to redeem the reward on 9am Sunday (since room stay is one day before, ie; Sat), then use it on Monday 8am since it is within a 24hr period?

 

I've not known anyone to attempt that and I believe you have to use it within 24 hours of check out. Feel free to try but I would probably buy a back up reward just incase

 

Also keep in mind i stayed at MB a few week ago and they didnt even want me to redeem a breakfast reward at 10 pm on a Sunday for use the next morning , told me to come back at 8am the following day even if i was staying there fri-sat-mon

 

Same experience as vegasqc. At Bellagio late afternoon in August redeeming other rewards and tried to redeem breakfast for next morning. Told me to come back the next morning - have a policy now that it is to be redeemed the day of use.
