I don't quite understand CET's comps, but these are my two options for November. I have stayed at Caesars before and did not like gambling there, with the high table limits. I ended up playing mostly at the Cromwell or downtown. I have Bally's booked now and love the location. I have never played at Bally's. Should I stay in what looks to be the better room at Caesars? Or, stay at Bally's with closer proximity to Cromwell and possibly better gambling options?

I had the same problem. Some reason it showed a comped Caesars Augustus tower room. Never played there but doesn’t seem to be for me. I like playing at the Cromwell, flamingo, O’Shea’s and PH

Ive never stayed at Caesars but at Ballys many times. Before they remodeled the N.Tower at Ballys, the Jubilee Tower was the "IT"---unfort I got a room with a gargling toilet (like something out of a horror movie), a big ole pile of what I assume was sticky, white stuff on the carpet...big ole pile of it, and wifi fucking sucked so bad they actually refunded me one night of a resort fee.

Dont mind Ballys if its on a comp ^^^ that time it wasnt so it burned even more. Did enjoy the newly modeled rooms in the N Tower which is basically a match of Jubilee instead.

We stayed at Caesars last December. Frankly, we both found the property to be too large for our tastes. We prefer something smaller and easier to navigate. However, we loved the petite suite. We've never stayed at Bally's but will propbably stay there this December, if we book a year end trip.

Stayed in both last year, based on rooms alone I would go Palace no question. The Jubilee is nice, but the layout and especially the bathroom in the Palace room stand a head above IMO. View in a strip facing room is better in the Jubilee though, so it really depends on what your priorities are. Sounds from your post like you're mostly focused on the resorts, so stay at whichever one you prefer, you can't really go wrong either way.

i stayed at both properties but the time i stayed at caesars i still was playing slots..i had an augustus room with great view on the fountains . room looked a bit like a suite only donwside for me is that they didnt had normal fridge(minibar instead).....i get you that limits are a bit higher at caesars(although i love playing there and most of the time win there).....my room at caesars was totally comped but i lost alot on slots so that was afterwards....since 2014 not playing slots anymore and since than i got good deals on jubilee rooms at ballys....perfect location...actually i call it my home a bit the last 4 years(in the first few years that was IP)....for you gambling is good at ballys lower minimum(5 bucks) and good cocktailservice(not that i use that as i normally not drink and gamble but my brother will be with me so i will probably have some drinks this time)..jubilee room is nice and clean and has a safe and a fridge, view is also allright normally...only downside if you right above chateau paris nightclub you can experience some noise.....(you can do earplugs for that or request a room near elevators or go for the newly renovated indigoo rooms(no view but no noise at all)...so my advice and i think you will agree with me is ballys hands down!!!

i agree with you on bathroom as palace has also yacuzzi next to the shower (also a little tv but that was poor quality so not worth mentioning)....for me i go to the spa every day and sometimes pool and go to the yacuzzi there alot so i dont really miss that

If you have never stayed at Caesars, do it at least once. These are recently remodeled rooms and look great. Like many others, I found the property a bit too large and had zero luck there. But, while the Jubilee tower rooms at Ballys are nice, the casino isn't that great and it is also a bit of a hike to other properties.

Caesar's is simply too big for my tastes, I would pick Bally's every time!

I'm going to keep my Bally's reservation and try it out. I like that side of the strip for casino hopping anyway. Thanks for the info!

Stay at Caesars Palace and play across the street at Cromwell or Bally's, or whatever. I'm a Caesars guy, i only stay at Caesars properties. But i prefer to gamble at certain Caesars Casinos like Cromwell, Paris, PHO, LinQ.
STAY and PLAY are two separate things. STAY at Caesars Palace, PLAY across the street. It's as simple as that.

i get it that some people prefer Caesars as the room itself ( a lil bit bigger than jubilee) and bathroom(yacuzzi) and the view (view of fountains i had when staying at caesars was breathtaking..having that sayd i like ballys jubilee too much for me better location you can go anywhere from there pretty central..and if i wanna gamble at caesars i just take walkawaybridge and im there.. i know for you highrollers its a silly thing but i also love that jubilee ballys has a fridge and no minibar like caesars..sorry guys im frugal i dont wanna spent tons of money..the strip is already expensive and i take it that i pay triple for groceries i buy at the ph wallgreens.....another thing which we havent mentioned before is that ballys has no diamond lounge..and caesars has a real nice one but than again i can walk ;-).....another thing is that ballys is a bit more cosy as i see it .(wel because it has my homebase for many times even once 44 days ..everybody knows me there so its like a warm bad) Caesar property is a bit more upgrade class and higher limits as well im no highroller so ballys is perfect for me but i also like to wander around to other casinos

Won’t beat Bally’s location. I like the tables there as well.

I love the petite suite. Yeah its a hike and CP is a pain to navigate but when you open that door, you feel like such a boss that you don't even care. I found that once I figured out where each entrance dumped you out, it was easy to get to the opposite side of LVB to get to other gaming options in the chain. I do like Bally's but I don't like that it relys on Paris to complete it. I could stay at Paris and not think about going into Bally's for dining or gaming but I can't say the reverse. I felt Bally's was a more complete resort before some the "upgrades" in the dining category.

I’ve always enjoyed gaming in the Ballys casino, I generally end up there once or twice a trip, regardless of where I’m staying within the CET empire.
That being said, I didn’t love staying there when I did, yes the rooms were large, and in fine condition. I just didn’t feel like the dining options were much less expensive than anywhere else, just downscale.
We’ve stayed at Caesars our last two trips, and really love the pools and rooms. We go elsewhere to eat if we don’t want a $75 breakfast for two (no alcohol)... I like the gaming options at Caesars well enough, but find that I spend a lot of my time at Cromwell, and Flamingo.
My first choice is PHo, the pool just keeps me away from there in the summer. I’m booked for 4 nights at PHo in December, and likely will spend 75% of my gaming, and eating time within the property. I like their remodeled rooms too.

We stayed at PH in August. We were at least 100' from the elavator, but we heard it all night. Going forward I will request a room away from the elavator. Strange as I've never heard an elavator in any other Vegas resort.

I had a room directly behind the elevator once and didn’t change rooms, which I regretted my whole trip....
My next stay I was literally booked in the same room on another floor, and went right back down and requested a change, which was promptly granted. Those rooms right by the elevators are really crappy!

Book Caesars - it’s just an overall better hotel.

I stay there all the time even though my play is mostly at the lower end CET properties.
