i posted about this Sunday. I live 17 miles east of the casino, but will wait about a month before I check it out.
What I can tell you is Friday the roads will be like a parking lot.

From pictures of table felts i've seen in blackjack is 3/2 dealer hits soft 17

I just got back from there a little while. There's a casino test night tonight (not sure what's going on the rest of the week, but there's a gala on Thursday). Tons of people, place was packed. Almost everything seemed to be up and running in the main area except for Cal Mare (no menu in sight either), Starbucks, and a few of the shops. Second floor was off limits along with Armory Square (outdoor area).

    Here's some general thoughts:
    • Pretty easy to move around, even with a ton of people. Good flow to the place.
    • They have machines that allow you to register and print out Mlife cards (if you lose one, you can reprint here). I believe National Harbor has this. Vegas really needs to get on this to cut down the lines.
    • BlackJack was 3:2, there was some $5 tables, not sure how long that will last.
    • Everyone was really happy to be working (give it time, right? ;) ) , plenty of cocktail waitresses. They're still learning the ropes, but they had a card which showed what liquors/beers they had available.
    • Parking is free.
    • Cashing out at a slot was slow. Everywhere else I've played, a TITO is spit out in like 2 seconds. I felt like it took almost 45 to 60 seconds.

Got an email about this earlier from MGM and dug in a little more. I love how it is just in the middle of this small downtown area. Looks very cool.

From the video, it looked a lot like the MGMNH inside to me. Nice colors in the room, lobby and casino. I'm really glad to see they didn't do any orange and blue stuff like they did in the reno's at Bellagio and Mirage. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot but with that little VP, it's not for me.

Blackjack and craps minimums were $15. Place was packed last weekend.

My wife works in the courthouse across the street and has stopped in a couple times. Apparently it’s dead on weekdays. Now that it’s been open almost a month, anybody know if the weekends are still mobbed?

I know getting restaurants reservations is a pain in the ass. I'm headed their next Sunday to try out Cal Mare. Going the following weekend to gamble and grab some drinks.

MGM also posted the following on their Facebook page a week or so ago "In celebration of our newest resort, all Tier Credits earned at MGM Springfield will not expire until September 30, 2019."
