There's a strip of glass that runs the width of the left portion of the tower, midway up. In the picture it looks the same color as the glass as at Wynn and Encore, but the person who took the photo says its more reddish in person.

I was there this past week and they were definitely working on it. Compared to what I saw last December there’s been a lot of work done.

Build that sucka faster! We need the rooms coming online to help keep Vegas relatively cheap.

Five Hundy's podcast had a report from recently filed plans which indicated the first phase of the project will have close to 4000 rooms and include a water park, pool deck, and miscellaneous retail areas. Subsequent phases could potentially push the room count to over 10K.

I counted 5 cranes in action last week riding the sdx back downtown. Significantly more than the last time I went by. But 2020 is a bit off in time. But competition is good for all.

Just returned from a stay in Encore in a north facing room looking right out at the construction. Seemed like quite a bit of activity and they definitely have made progress since our last visit in April. Still a long way to go - but great to finally at least see some progress.

Room also obviously looked right at Fontainebleau/Drew. Would be good if they actually started back up there also. This was our first stay at WynnEncore and we loved the room but not the location. That might change if these other properties get completed.

Every time I go by, there seems to be more built. But it is still very slow in comparison to any other casino I have ever seen built. At least now it looks like something.
