Did your account show up on the tv? Mine didn’t I had to go down at 6 am to check out. Which was not pleasant. There doubled charged me resort fee for three nights.

I really like the Park MGM!

I didn't try the TV since it appears to walk you into check-out and I only wanted to review my charges. But, upon reviewing my print out, it seems the $150 had not yet been taken off yet not all my food charges had been added on. So now that I'm home I'll have to call to see what the final bill is. They haven't charged my card yet and I checked out 4 days ago.

I was in Vegas last weekend and have one question:

WHO PICKED THE GREEN AND OFF WHITE COLOR SCHEME?

IMHO it looks terrible in person and won't age well. I get that they're trying to be upscale, but looked dim, dull and depressing inside.

It doesn't look that bad in pictures, but in person I think it's a terrible choice.

I always thought it looked like somebody hit up the oops paint section.

It's not what was presented as a proposal, which, although very generic, looks OK. I can't really tell, but are they painting green stripes down the front? If so, not good. It also looks like canvas.

The problem is the casino is just so boring. No comp drinks at the sportsbook or cocktail lounge. No fun places to hang. This wasn't geared towards millenials...as is the usual excuse. Cosmo and it's bars have long been my millenial friend favorite hangouts. A French, low key pastel ridden property were never going to do it. They would rather have fun at NYNY

Agreed. I fear a big miss.

They clearly want to re-brand as more upscale, but who is the audience? Budget upscale travelers?

That is turning into such a great location. Why they didn't build a much better pool and create a more modern and upscale vibe is a mystery to me.

It's so drab and depressing right now, both inside and out. I know it's a work in progress, but I'm pretty sure the design and color on the inside is close to the final look.

Gotta hold judgement until the end. There's still plans for a nightclub and pretty much everything Nomad-related hasn't opened (bar, restaurant, and pool).

I’m gonna go check out Park next week. I’m gonna hold off judging until I get there, however my impression so far is a giant “meh”. I honestly thought when it was the Monte Carlo it sucked. Most boring ho-hum casino on the strip.

i always enjoyed the monte carlo in an ironic way and i am confident i will like park in the same way. the design screams of like overstock.com, spending 70 cents on the dollar to appear to be decent but it's really shit.
gambling there has been a riot to me- miserable pit bosses/dealers and cocktail waitresses who weren't good looking enough to work elsewhere.
but this place also been my personal ATM for some reason. granted I'd never stay there, but the location works and $ talks.

100% agree. We ended up there a lot because we would take the tram there to hit up MGM or walk across to the Castle and Luxor and Mandalay. We're staying there because of MyVegas rooms. So will see if it's as...green...as it looks.

Olive drab and gambling are a great combination. Maybe MGM will extend it to a poker room.

Same here. Plus a public offer of $31/night +$100 F&B. Obviously, it's cheap because of current situation; however, I will be judging it based on my experience. Not liking what I've read about check in and billing, especially since I want to join the two reservations and to get full benefit of F&B.

Primrose was good for breakfast, really liked that place - but that's about it. Casino around 10:30AM was dead. Played for about an hour and left to go on to other properties. Lots of construction everywhere and my UBER driver said it is the worst place to pickup riders due to construction vehicles, lots of drivers will pass on the fare. It is cheap right now and I thought about possibly taking advantage of that but just not enough there to get me to stay at this point.

That award goes to the Linq Balconies. Have you seen that mess?

I've stayed at Linq and couldn't believe it when I saw it. I just knew they were gonna cover that up or that was some weird primer or something.

Walked thru the Park MGM on Friday afternoon to see it first hand. Took the walkway from Aria, first thing I noticed was how empty the hallway was connecting it (used to be full of stores, restaurants, etc). I hope they bring some of that back. Come to think of it, I feel like there was a lot of blank wall space inside the Park too.

Casino definitely felt sterile. New and clean, but sterile. Played a bit of craps to be able to say I played there... Never really felt any excitement from anywhere within the casino though.

Walked past the restaurants, made a point to stick my head in Bavette's, stopped at a bar for a drink and waited 10 mins in a not-busy lounge bar and eventually got up and left and walked back to Aria to get the drink at Alibi.

Didn't leave much of an impression... not a bad impression though, just wanting more. As previous posters have said, we'll have to wait til it's really done before passing judgement here. Potential is high, execution so far is luke-warm.

The sportsbook really underwhelmed. It is set up like a bar/restaurant but the food has to be ordered at a counter. There is no waitress service for the food. There is also no racebook. It seems like they were caught between making it a sportsbook and a restaurant/hangout and managed to fail at both.

Anymore updates from anyone? We're 17 days away from checking in. I'm fine with their transition status as the deals we got were good( comped regular room + comped Nighthawk suite and noticeably better RC/FP numbers than our usual MLife choices). I've read that they're abandoning the kiosk check in system and should have a traditional registration area up and running by 9/1. Also there's now a Spa page on the website, but no direct contact #. I emailed the concierge who confirmed the spa is "set" to open 8/29. I booked a massage for 9/6, keeping my fingers crossed any growing pains would have been resolved by then. The concierge seemed to be struggling a bit with the spa software, and her options didn't exactly match the website offerings I was following up on.

This might be a stretch, but the green color and stripes are probably a reference to the green and white beach cabanas common at upscale European beach destinations like...Monaco/Monte Carlo ! I do agree it looks pretty terrible in the pictures I've seen so far though. 880be95a53c694ce24597ab86b35e8ce--monte-carlo-monaco-beach-club[1].jpg

In person the green isn't as terrible (that's the best I can do). I've actually enjoyed my stay there. I still like the red room we got better than the green room (standard not any of the higher level). As best I can tell, red rooms are on odd floors and green are on even - yes I went looking...I was curious.
