    Hello,

With all the stuff to do in Vegas, would 2 nights and 3 days provided enough time to fit everything in or would that be too rushed? Is it possible to get done without feeling like you've missed a lot? Or should we splurge for the extra day / night?

    Thanks.

If I'm reading your countdown timer correctly you definitely want an extra night! Can you even book that far in advance? I wouldn't recommend a trip that short unless you plan to come back very soon.

You will never get "all the stuff to do in Vegas" done in any amount of time! I see you are from Mass. With the long flight and time change, I would recommend going for as many days as possible. We usually go for a week. I would suggest that you pick one thing per day to see/do and then take it from there. It is easy to get sidetracked in Vegas and you don't want to come home feeling like you didn't get to everything on your list. Have fun!

I used to go to Vegas for Friday & Saturday nights only and leave Sunday. But it's terrible IMO. It's not enough time. I think the minimum you should go is three nights (for basically any trip).

You have a long flight to get there I would take the extra day. I also would go there before the planned visit 646 days:(

The more the better! That said you will very be unlikely to run out of things to do if you lengthen your stay.

4 days / 3 nights has, in our experience, been the ideal length for a Vegas vacay. We're in the plane for four hours, so it's kind of a haul. . . however, it ain't like Vegas is going away. If you're gonna stay longer - and have never been to Vegas before - you might wanna include a trip to the Grand Canyon or Hoover Dam to just take a breather from the neon moon. Of course, this assumes that this trip to Vegas is not a 'once in a lifetime' sort of venture.

3 nights is always the best for us. We never see/do everything we have planned in that time. 2 days of hard charging, then the last day more low key recovery.

5 days/5nights works best for us.

    3 isn’t enough....
    7 is too many.

I come from the East Coast I'm not going to waste 8 hours each way to and from Vegas for anything less than 5 nights. I've done 8 days but a couple of those days for excursions. I had a timeshare for that but normal is 5 or 6 nights.

Do the longer trip. It will be less rushed.

I've had several 6 week long trips and still haven't done everything I want to do. We fly from the UK.

I'm in the 3 nights / 4 days group. Any less is not enough time.

im from the east coast, with the flight times, i usually do a week, and ive been going to Vegas regularly since around 97. I do get off the strip usually to hit breweries, and i break it up by doing the first 2 nights downtown, then last 5 on strip. Inevitably when i get home, i always go through the "I didn't do this or that" conversation. But i do make it a point to do at least 2 new things each year. So to answer your question, go long!

We used to go 4 or 5 nights, but for the last few years we go a minimum of 6 nights.....and we never see everything we planned for whatever reason. This past trip we ran out of time and missed the Neon Museum...next time. ;)

Californians can do 2 night trips and have it make sense-- although I prefer 3. 4 is too many, personally. If I were coming from the east coast I'd probably shoot for 3 to make it worth the effort.

My shortest trip was for 3 nights over 15 years ago; and in recent years, 5 has been the smallest number of nights. I got back a week ago after 7 nights. For me, the expense and hassles of traveling alone wouldn't justify going for only 2.
