I agree with you, it's very rude, I've been sitting at a BJ table alone and had someone come up and ask me to switch chairs(I usually sit in the middle), I'll look at them and say there's 5 other chairs, pick anyone but mine. Unbelievable.

I smoke cigars st the table pretty regularly. I ask if anyone minds, the dealer included. If yes I hold off. You'd be surprised at how often no one cares.

Hate cigars and wish they were illegal at any indoor venue. Love nonsmoking casinos

When a smoker asks me if I mind if they light up, I'm truthful. I answer, "I'd prefer you didn't. Thanks for asking."

Smoking at my table. I leave.

Cigar smoking within a few tables, I totally leave.

I will never understand why men love to suck on those things and how it makes them feel so good.

I don't smoke, but of course I expect to smell it in 'Vegas. To me, the worst, most offensive-smelling stogie smells better than the best-smelling cigarette. If someone actually is considerate enough to ask me if I mind if they smoke, I reply "No, just don't exhale."

I once asked a girl puffing on a cigarette at a blackjack table if she smoked after sex. She said: “I don’t know - I’ve never looked.”

After having multiple asthma attacks from people smoking at the table, I don't think you want to know my thoughts about smoking at the tables lol

@BlacklabberMike Are those indian casinos? Indoor smoking also illegal here, but the Indian casinos are not subject to state or federal regulations, so giant clouds of smoke.

With my luck, the ones that do smoke cigars on my BJ table generally have no concept of consideration of others because they generally puff their smoke into the dealers face and that ruins the entire vibe. I'd rather the dealer focuses on dealing and not on the fan.

Illinois casinos are non-smoking. So is Harrah's NOLA (they have a few outdoor gaming areas for smoking, which makes everyone happy, machines only though).

Outside of NV, I think they are fairly common.

wonder if that would be a niche marketing concept for a small to middling place in vegas?
