Thanks. I filmed the view from the Mandarin in my vlog. First ever vlog.

The old Ghost Bar at the Palms (now the Apex Social Club) has awesome views. Not sure if the new venue is loud or more laid back. http://palms.com/apex.html

I second The STRAT . As awful as that area is, man it has some really breath taking views of our favorite city.

I do however think Ghost Bar/Apex Social has better views. Although, it was loud as all hell when I was there last.

I was looking at some YouTube of the Strat and might be interested in visiting 107 Skylounge. It seems to be that there is a single elevator separate from the observation platform elevators. Also appeared to be no charge and no operator. Can anyone tell me where the elevator is and if you need to walk through the shopping mall to get there? Also, some videos seemed to imply that drinks were no longer half price. Any info on what constitutes ‘happy hour’?

I'm not sure on all of the other questions, but I'm been putting together some information for a large birthday bash and had this link on Vegas Happy Hours https://seeingvegas.com/happy-hours-las-vegas-2018
It lists:107 SKYLOUNGE: 4 PM – 7 PM: 50% off appetizers and 2-for-1 cocktails; 10:30 PM to 3 AM: 50% off appetizers; Midnight to 3 AM: 2-for-1 cocktails

Yes, it's in the Strat after all! (And while I'm being kind of a smartass, I actually have been and wore something similar)

I think Mandarin Bar is called the Sky Bar now. I really hope they've given it a refresher as it was looking quite worn.

I'd also recommend Skyfall at the Delano... been up there many times. Mostly early evening (5/6 or so) before dinner or going out for the night. Great view, and generally no cover or crowds that early.
