    TUESDAY:

Went down stairs at 7 and the slots were not giving points or titos so I gave craps a whirl. Not my morning. Dropped $141 in 30 min. By then, Mrs. V was up and ready for breakfast so off to the WRANGLER GRILL in THE SILVER NUGGET. I had the meat omelet - the best omelet I have ever had - and only $6.99. The wife had the $1.99 special - 2 eggs hash browns and toast. Total cost was $9.72. what a hidden gem this restaurant is. Then put $40 in a ZUMA slot and lost it. Oh well.

On to JERRY’S NUGGET where the wife hit a four of a kind. +$40 for her.

I went to the Sports Book.

Got the Twins +200 over the Indians,

    Lynx -4.5,

    Bengals -2.5 and the

    Pates -3 in preseason action,

took the Chargers to win the Super Bowl at 12/1 and

Kyle Larson at 5/1 to win NASCAR

All bets were $25. A friend wanted $25 on the Vikes so I added my own $25. Now I will be rooting for a Chargers/Vikings Super Bowl.

Then back to the DTG were we checked the slot tournament results. My other BIL won the $100 and I won $50 and the BIL I slotted with yesterday got $25 so we got 3 of the top 4 spots.

    Now back to the slots.

BSHOWELL - the pool was really nice. We got a cabana - a shared one - it was an option to players of a certain level but you have to share it with other players if they want to use that cabana. Ice water with lemons was set up as well as a fruit tray. It was amazing and we felt special. The only downside was all drinks ordered from our huge group had to be put on our room. There was a gratuity in the total bill and it came to $341 total. Not bad with 15 people using the pool on a very - very hot day. Mr. V did not spend more than 5 minutes out by the pool as he does not enjoy this heat and is not a pool person. The pool itself is not very deep. There are misters that constantly run but the wind was blowing the mist straight to the south instead of gently falling on the people sitting under them.

    Tuesday Continued:

The wife woke me up with a call saying she hit a hand pay on my card and I should come right down. On the way down, I am thinking I hope she won more than $1200. Guess what she won? She had won like $1227. Not what I was hoping for but still good. It made her really happy to get that hand pay. No problems with it not being her card. They just took her information and had her sign the paper work and that was it. I don’t know why we play on my card - it does not matter. We have a really great casino host and he put this whole wedding stay together - booking 12 rooms, cabana, and all the other little details were covered and has went off without a hitch. He said he adds our play together anyway. After settling Mrs. V down, I thought what a good time to hit the SUPER SILVER SEVENS again. Started out good at first - up about $80 then slowly but surely, I lost the whole hundy. I went to the wallet and started feeding the machine a $20, then a $10, cleaning out anything that was not a dollar bill - needed those to keep my buzz going. There ended up being $70 in the wallet and it too fed the machine and was never seen again. Then I remembered I had $17 FP - that also disappeared. Everyone wanted to go to pizza rock for supper - it was great as always and everyone really liked it. Next, they wanted to hit Fremont Street. It was still 101 but I went anyway. Everyone else walked down the street while I walked through the casinos to stay cool. We stopped and did our free play at the 4 QUEENS and won a silver strike. Then on to the D for our FP - lost that and $40 more but the wife won $75 on her MP. We came back to the DTG and finished up our slot tournament rounds. Mrs. V and I went to FREEDOM BEAT for a banana split - it was good but not as good as the one we had at ARIZONA CHARLIES DECATUR and about one third the size. I think it cost more too. After that I went to bed and the wife hit the PAI GOW table - she can tell you how she did later.

Got two days at the Aria in November. Considering the Lucky Cuss for the other three. What are your thoughts?
