Players card in the sports book

So what's the deal with sports books in players cards? I've never used mine in Vegas when placing a bet, but now in Tunica I'm down there more often so should I be giving them my players card when I place my bets or is it not worth it?

In vegas, you can get a tiny amount of credit at CET and Wynn books. So I always give mine there. MGM does not give any credit for sports bets (although they may for horse racing; they used to, not sure now), nor do any of the CG books since they are tenants of the resorts.

 

The main benefit of a card is if you have status. For CET, if you are a diamond or 7 stars there is a separate line at the book

That line has priority over the main line. Only after nobody left in the Diamond/7 star line will they take somebody in the regular line.

At Caesars on a NFL morning before kickoff, it can be the difference between spending 1 minute or less in line and waiting 20 minutes or more and missing kickoff.

There does seem to be some stink eye given by the people in the regular line though.

They may not ask for it but you should always use it.... if you were to lose your ticket, they can pull it up (hopefully someone else hasn't cashed it yet) just by giving your players' card and ID.

 

Having Diamond or 7*can be a big deal when placing Second half bets on NFL games. Those early games all tend to go to the half near the same time, and once the second half lines gets posted, you have only a few minutes to act.

 

The credits you get from sports bets are so minor that you wont even notice it..
but the above is the best reason to use it.. especially if you are betting on futures.

 

Agree with most of the statements above. I bet $330-$1100 a game and most of the sports books tell me it will not mean anything for credit on your card. A few have asked but mostly it helped with ease of service if you have a gold card or above (MGM).
