It helps that Erica is very easy on the eyes. My favorite was their Main Street Station tour, maybe because that is the property that I am most familiar with.

I also enjoy Andrew Neeme. He is very open and shares both his wins and losses at the poker table.

Great topic! Going down a YouTube LV rabbit hole is one of my favorite distractions.

In addition to Living in Las Vegas, I really enjoy Dani 702. Her videos are very similar to LILV, but do more in terms of giving backstories of the properties. I also follow the Phil & Jess channel. They recently did six days on the Strip. I stumbled upon this channel when looking for Hell's Kitchen video reviews and found the rest to be fun too.

Awesome! I haven't seen the Living in Las Vegas vids before. Looks great! I enjoy the Trooper's videos of the city. His rants...not so much. Also enjoy Neeme's stuff. Thanks again

Gotta give a shout out to Brad Owens as well, another LV poker blogger who is good friends with Andrew Neeme. His videos mostly pertain to poker, but there are some good LV scenes as well.

You Tube is the reason nobody should be going to Las Vegas without doing their research.

Can I rec this 1000 times????

I am a big believer in the "Six P's": Proper Preparation Prevents P--- Poor Performance. YouTube can put you in the room, lobby, casino - hell, even the elevators! If you don't know what kind of toiletries go in your "being considered" Las Vegas hotel room, it's because you haven't been on YouTube. It's your literal Las Vegas travel guide!

There is a ton of great content on YouTube about Vegas. The problem can be finding what you are looking for. Not all reviews, video blogs, and documentaries are created equally. I really enjoy the unedited videos of people walking or driving around the strip and downtown as it makes me feel like I am there with them. Of course, some have terrible commentary, music, camera shaking, etc, so you will end up having to filter through a lot of junk to find a good one.

The vlogs are in a similar boat. Some are great and edited well, others have blown out music with a bunch of inside jokes. Those that do it well can really offer a nice treat to those looking to see Vegas through the eyes of someone else. Once again, it just takes some time to find the good ones!

The documentaries are obviously the best produced videos, but a lot of them are old now and so the content may not be as relevant to future Vegas trips.

I too have been hitting up YouTube and have enjoyed LILV for the (usually) high quality video tours and All You Can Vegas just to see what foods I probably won't get around to eat without multiple trips!

I also have been enjoying Color Up, a craps focused channel with really good presentation. It focuses mainly on different craps betting strategies and rolls through them a few times. The best part is there's no BS; he doesn't edit videos to favorably show one strategy or another. They're all just informational strategies for a craps player who may be looking for different ways to bet.

The American Casino Guide official channel has some pretty interesting videos, but mainly it feels like they are catered towards Vegas beginners.

I enjoy the YT videos as well, but do NOT watch the Jackpot or Slot videos because it makes it seem like everyone wins.
Then when I go to the casino and it sucks my money I get  and think why can't I win everyone on YouTube wins.

I had never heard of Trooper before seeing this thread and have been watching his videos for the past hour - I think the guy is hilarious. And as a casual poker player, I find his poker talk very interesting along with his hopping around to various poker rooms.

Having a slot channel myself, I follow most of the other slot channels - but hands down the best vlogger from someone who does not live in Vegas is Matt Bridger. He uploads every night during his trips from his phone. He's about to be there again this month so check him out!

Jules at top-buffet is what I started watching when I first was looking for Vegas videos. It's mostly focused on buffet reviews, but sometimes she does room reviews which are quite thorough.

Now that I’m in my teens I have completely and totally fallen in love with Vegas you tube stuff. From the walk throughs, buffet reviews to just random vacation vids it’s all great and helpful as can be. I also really really enjoy some of the vintage Vegas videos from days gone bye. All good stuff.

I really like her room reviews. They are usually comped "base" rooms, so they represent a bare minimum you can expect in terms of view, room, and so forth for a given property. I also find the depth of her reviews useful, as they are really quite detailed. Good "compass setter" on what to look for in Vegas, especially ahead of my 2016 trip (where it had been a while since I had last been) - and worth a look to watch any more recent reviews by her of properties you are considering.

Buffets aren't really my thing, so I haven't watched that - but those room reviews get huge thumbs up here. Wish she did them more often - she's good at it.

I also love watching youtube videos of vegas trips as a hobby. Not sure if this was mentioned yet, but We Know Vegas is one of my favorite channels now and offers lots of tips and news for tourists.

I was just realizing, when I ever I see a vlog of young kids going to Vegas, (18-20 somethings) I usually just ignore the vlog. Most times it will be geared to night clubs, drinking at the pools, etc... This is just me but that isn't what I enjoy about Vegas now. That is saying something because sometimes they have girls in Bikini's, lol

Ever since reading this thread I now watch YouTube videos daily and have subscribed to quite a few channels. I'm starting to think I need an intervention! but at least it will keep me hoping until my trip.
