Video Poker A Video Poker Primer with Bartop Listings and Better Nickel Options!

Yeah the baccarat bar seems to be in the 5k range a lot from various TR pictures that I see. Most other M Life bars don't have dollar progressives.

 

I looked at the DDB at the Furnace Bar today. 25c still has the 8/5 DDB with the 4 way progressive. Other DDB denominations were still 9/6. I checked two machines on different sides of the bar. These were single-line games since I thought that was what was being discussed. There are a few multiline machines at that bar that I did not check. Maybe I'm missing something?

Yes, I assumed (maybe incorrectly) he meant single line. I never checked the multiline there because I never noticed they had it...whoops. Although it's not too common, it's possible some machines at the bar are set differently. But as long as some machines are still the better paytables (the 8/5 prog is usually better payback than standard 9/5), I'm happy!

What is the Mandalay bartop situation? Per Yelp.. Mizuya lounge is closed? And the sports bar only has $1 VP? Is this still true? The only quarter VP is by the eye candy bar?

 

Mizuya was usually pretty busy when I visited. Unfortunately didn't see this til now and totally skipped MB this trip.

After doing some digging, I found out the bar has been rethemed and is now called "Rhythms and Riffs". The old dinosaur looking bartops look to be there, so hopefully my listing on that place isn't too out of date.

I played .25 VP at Rhythms & Riffs (back side of Mizuya) 2 weeks ago.
Played about 3 hours while Phoenix was playing. No big wins, but my money lasted fairly well for 3 hours.

Yeah unfortunately I haven't had a lot of time to look up paytables the last few trips. But the ones I have checked in the last year have mostly stayed constant. Was there any casino you were wondering about in particular?

 

Not really, having been on the site in almost a year and thought I'd look what's up. I'm assuming if the date hasn't changed then you either didn't have a chance to look or there are no changes.

 

Yeah in the last year, I haven't found too many changes at all. Not a bad thing since most changes go the wrong way.

I recently got a report that Palazzo's new bar has 9/5 DDB for dollars. That's shocking to me.

 

And a lot of times when referencing the bar top listings and finding something out of sorts with the actual games a post is made and a picture if possible.
Tring kinda keeps up with the listings and we all sort of try to keep him busy.

 

It's it important to note too that @tringlomane isn't always in Vegas so updates can and should be posted here if need be and he will always update his 1st page as well.

I heard the new Tag bar has bar top VP. Can anyone confirm?
