    My Trip Report

John Needs a Refresher in Fundamental Grammer
Saturday July 1st 5am was an early rise for a Saturday but It was all good. I had been looking forward to meeting up with my brother Chuck (Vegas Nooblar) and 3 other good friends Chris, Ben, and Kim since February and finally the day was here. Drove out to the the airport in Tampa (traffic was light!!!) found a parking spot in the “boonies†grabbed a shuttle to the Frontier airlines gate all without a hitch ….thought to myself oooooh baby this is just too good!! The Flight had Its usual bumps and I added a few new “fistandfingerdents†to the armrest…omg I absolutely hate flying…landed 10 mins early In my favorite city of cities…wonderfull Las Vegas!!!
Grabbed a ciggy while waiting for Ben,Chris, and Kim to land while chuck wasn’t supposed to land till 5pm or so…-->Vrooom to the cab Line
--->varoooom to the ummmm “?New?†Frontier…..wooohooo roll them dice and play Young Frankenstein slots waiting for chuck (Ben and Kim stayed at Circus) uggg yuck…After a little Chuck snuck up on me and Chris…checked him into the suite rounded everyone up from the Circus and off we go to downtown. Main Street Station for dinner at the Brew Pub was the only order of business before we scatter to the four winds, and I must say it met my expectations. I had errr several beers and the Blackened Mahi Mahi…mmmmmscrumptious. After dindin we explored the Fremont area …:drooling: OOH what this?? :drooling: A deep fried twinkie? :drooling: I have never tried one. I am told I was out for about 15 minutes In a sugar shock coma :goofy: ZOIKS.. and other first and most likely last for me there. Ended the evening with a hour or two of Craps back at the NF then off too bed.

    Jumbled morning thought ritual
Sunday July 2nd Good Morning Me… time for the “three S’s†where are my partners in crime? oooh I need a tall glass of water…or a beer.
Here comes Chuck waltzing:wiggle: into my room with a cold one. Hmmm what a way to start the day. He found Chris down in the casino with Ben and Kim at video poker and they are ready for the Aladdin Spice Market Buffet. I think I can handle this mission. NO KIM, I AM NOT TAKING THE BUS, NONONO, I HATE THE BUS NO!!!!FOR THE LAST TIME NO KIM NO! So here we are on the bus headed for champagne brunch I can already taste them king crab legs, breakfast pizza, stuffed crab sole….mmmm. Here we are short line and were in. And not to be disappointed. It is everything and more. Arguably the best buffet on the strip IMHO. Spent the rest of the day in various casinos dropping a few bills here and there waking up my player cards just basically having a ball with my folk and enjoying the entire day. Back to the NF where I decide since were checking out in the morn, and I very very seriously doubt I will ever stay here again, to use all my points for dinner at Margaritas Cantina….dinner was so-so to mediocre weak drinks I wouldn’t recommend it given the other choices around the city. But….it was free…. --->off to bed:) .

The 3 S's term has been used in the navy since I joined - too many decades ago.

    Great report!

July 1-5 Holy Guacamole Part 2

Out of the Rats nest and off to Romper Room or Why does my mouth taste like a shoe?
Monday July 3rd Time to SSS and double brushing my teeth this morning doesn’t sound like too bad of an idea either. Then its off to check out of the NF hopefully for the last time and Into….OMG:eek: I see ya’ll already shaking your heads….yes you guessed it. Circus Circus:vomit: . Yes I know, you don’t have to tell me ….But a free room is a free room. After this last time I will not be staying here again you can bet. ….I Digress.
OK packed up and out. Chuck Chris and I check out of NF no bill all comped:) . We decide to hoof it over to CC and sweat out some toxins:cry: . Check in was fast main tower room…eh ….and My days count is already up to three separate screaming little rugrats:wink2: managed to run into my lit cigarette:poke: . Their parents look at me like I am a monster. HAH well I am. Control your vermine I say:nono: . Time to grab my partners and scoot.
Off we go to more strip casinos to earn some good will towards future stays and enjoy sights sounds bells whistles and action. Headed to Mandalay Bay to check out the Shark Reef but the line stretched all the way to Ceasars  so…..we gambled:wiggle: . I played a little quarter WOF for my single biggest hit of the trip, 10X RED7 10X, for 3000 quarters:wiggle: ….woooohoo. And its time for Lunch…mmm Monte Carlo Pub and Brewery. We enjoyed our food pretty well but the beer was excellent. We shared one…One you ask? Yes One. It was a 9 liter One…HAHAHA It was great…we ate and drank and had a jolly good time. Boogied out of there in time ‘cause I knew something was going on at Carnival Court:wave: . Made it to O’Sheas for a fast players card then over to Harra’s C.Court. How the heck am I supposed to find the T2V gang supposedly here somewhere? Tadaaaa….John now learns how to text message. Another first for me in vegas. Ben, Kim, and Chris decided It was not in their plan so they disappeared. Chuck and I found Vegas Tonya, Sanofsurfer, and Coaster Kikki. We had lots:beer: and lots to drink:drooling: , I had a Jagerbomb:drunk: chuckled over a few things… some yellow scarf antics come to mind…mostly just good company. We…were a…ummm hic…

THIS AREA INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK I DONT REMEMBER

STARDUST???? How the heck???? Hic…oh :drooling: nevermind lets gamble…drunks shouldn’t:drooling: gamble….hahaha….stumble stagger stumble stumble stagger…..back to the CC and up to th e..uummmmthe umm room……oh crap what room am I in??? this is going to be fun……I woke up the next morning…uh huh???:snore:

Did I get my head run over by the Deuce? Or There is that damn shoe again.
Tuesday July 4th and the last full day. Normal SSS and of course the double brush for the teeth. Slam 3 asprin and a liter of water. Met up with the folks and laughed a little over a few games of VP then off to Hofbrauhouse to watch the Germany (lost)VS. Italy Futbol (soccer) game. Some pretty roudy folk in that joint that day I tell ya. I was kind of hoping for a riot but just as well there wasn’t because my head was still a little loose from last night. I had a few beers:beer: and that seemed to calm me some but I could tell I was going to have a pretty tame day. Afterwards mostly we spent the rest of our time liesurly strolling through the various casinos ….hitting lots of shops for trinkets and such . Enjoying the day. I had quite a few snacks and lots of water….mostly just a relaxing day:peace: .

AFTERTHOUGHTS Or If I had it to do all over again.
I am actually glad I got to stay at the New Frontier before It becomes a history lesson.
No matter how free they make it for me….NO MORE Circus Circus …ever!
Ever Kill a guy with a Twinkie????
    Spice market Buffet….Two Thumbs Up.
I still prefer taxi to the Deuce…but they are still both the :wink2: Debil:wink2: .

    Final Thought
Even though I did lose a shirt I had bought…I still came away from the trip a few hundred heavier than I came with, and Most Important I get to Add 3 more people to my In Real Life friends List:nworthy:

Nice job! Did Chuck ever put that bet on Italy like he said he was going to? Hope he bet on them to win it all! Good enough excuse to go back, right?

    Don't forget the pictures!

And you'll note that it wasn't until he met up with the T2V representatives that he couldn't remember what room he was in! And I warned him that me, Larry and Tonya were just a WARM-UP compared to a full-fledged gathering.

Ladies and gentlemen, start your livers!

They should make you sign a waiver before they sell you those deep fried twinkies, man.

My uncle, however, reported that the deep fried oreo had no ill effects, lol.

    Great report!!!
