WC 2018 R16 and QF –Sands Fan Clan in Vegas 6/29-7/8

When you talk about your daughter, is that one of the twins? Or do you have a young child and grandchildren?

 

This is one of my two year old twins. She is up chattering before six am with no regard to my late night. No consideration lol

I also have a daughter with three boys but she isn’t really a Vegas fan.

 

I didn’t play long but it’s a nice bar and the bartenders are great

 

SofSF hasn’t posted much this trip. Neither of us have done well on the gambling side so not a lot of photos

 

Watching France and Uruguay match now. First goal was unfortunate

Day 7 was low key drove to Blueberry Hill for breakfast. Thank you VMB for posting it. I switched from my traditional bacon and eggs to a chorizo skillet which was good but didn’t sit well with my System. Indigestión. Twins played more than ate but it was ok. Mrs SK Had the meat lovers skillet which she like.







Kids had chicken and waffles but I cut it up before photos.

Next was the Midway at Circus Circus. Twins were excited pushing the big red buttons. Money in the game? Didn’t matter to them. For a mere $30 we got four super cheap stuff animals and a couple small squirt guns which we tested at the pool later.

The plan was to get a butterscotch dip cone at DQ before the room but DQ near the old lotus of Siam is no more. We then spent 20 minutes trying to find the one near UNLV before I gave up. Both kiddos sound asleep in their car seats.

They actually went back to sleep when we got to the room which was great

Yes that was disappointing for me but I am sure there were some happy fans somewhere. So far I am batting zero on my bets so I held off today

Day 8 I think

Up early for the match but mostly cause twins were chattering away before six

The d limousines are the best. Yes 9:30 is early but it’s 5:30 somewhere right? Grey goose and cranberry for breakfast. Seems right.

 

Bummer room not ready until 1:30 so 10:0 - 1:30? Hit the taco shop across the street which was very good.

Then hitting all the tourist shops trying to occupy them. Then the I need my nap nasties kicked in yuck .
