    My Trip Report

I am leaving for Vegas Monday morning and will be putting daily updates on my blog.

The first three days at Harrah's I will only have Starbucks wifi so my daily updates will be somewhat limited. It will get better when I have wifi in my room at the Plaza.

Vegas in July or "Why would you do that?"

Harrah's has wifi in the rooms included with the resort fee, worked OK last time I was there in May.

I like taking pictures of Binion’s rotating clock / thermometer thing. It sure is hot up there sometimes.

I love the Vegas heat. Even when over 100 its much more comfortable then when it gets hot here in upstate NY. Today its 95 and dewpoints in the 70's.

At least in a Vegas, it’s a dry heat. I’m heading for New Orleans on Friday.

Have a great trip. I look forward to your report!

    Thanks guys!
I have not stayed at Harrah's for two years or so and back then their wifi sucked.
    Sounds like it has improved.

    And we are OFF!:woohoo:

    Why?

'cause of our good friend and pretty smart guy, Willis Carrier. He was right keen on the idea of forcing air around water cooled pipes, thus ensuring that millions of visitors can flock to the desert for vacay. How much of our time, as a percentage of waking hours, is actually spent outside the resort/casino venues? And it's considerably more comfortable than the humid, drenched clothes summers in the Florida jungle.

It was so much fun speaking with you at our cozy table before Tenors of Rock. The whole time my mind was going, “how do I know this person, she looks so familiar???” 3 a.m. it hits me!!! We will be checking out those new renovated rooms at Harrahs next trip in December. Hope you are having fun, and didn’t see little Jimmy up close !!!

Oh and PS...the WIFI is fine for me now AND the renovated Valley Tower rooms do NOT have that sensor system that turned off the AC when nothing was moving. THank goodness!

Because it is way better than Florida or any south east state during the summer months. I lived in Florida and have many friends and family there and the last place you would find me on vacation is were the humidity never lets up. I love 110 degree dry heat over 80 degrees with 100% humidity.

Unless it's raining or really windy then I don't care about the weather as I'm just not outside for any longer then to walk to another casino.

    So weird, @Blonde_4_ever .
You mentioned difficulty with your iPad and I'm having difficulty with my laptop trying
to read your blog and trip report.
Guess I'll switch over and see what happens.
    Good luck!
