I had 45k coin-in at MSS last month, which coincided with my card expiration month.
Now it shows an expiration date of November 30, 2018.

In the past it would go out for another year.

I just returned from an MSS trip also, and I was wondering if it was just my account that looked screwy (with a Nov exp date).

Wonder if this is a glitch, or something else they've changed for the worse.

Both my husband's and mine are still showing our usual April renewal date. Hopefully it's just some kind of glitch - if they go to a 6 month period or some other screwy system they will lose a lot of customers.

Normally it is 6 months for locals and 12 months for non locals, hopefully it is just a screw up and not screw us.

Have never made it to Sapphire level. I have points from August last year, do those expire August 1 or 31 this year?

Points earned in August of 2017 should expire on September 1, 2018. This is what allowed us to reach Emerald, we usually do a big trip in May. May counts twice for us since the May 2017 points don't expire till June 1, 2018.

My Emerald date stayed the same. Oct 2018. As mentioned, the locals do renew every 6 months instead of 12.

    I'm not a local.
Mine always extended for a year in the past.

I knew that and it wasn't aimed at you, just for educational purposes.
For your sake I hope it is just one of the many Bconnected glitches.

I have not had renewal since last January 1. This would be a game changer. Ty I would ask when you go next or send an email to Ingrid and just ask straight up. She's not shy and you know that.

If your not local, change your home casino to a downtown Boyd property, you will have to be there in person to request the change, and you will have to fill out paperwork. This will allow you 12 month status. If you are a local, it's 6 months. Not all Boyd casinos will allow you to change your home casino to them, or at least not all employees even know the first thing about it, and they will look at you real silly. I know for a fact that you can change your home casino to MSS.

I'll be there in a few weeks, I will ask.

Now I'm curious how many VMB folks are Sapphire or Emerald.

    (Should someone do a poll?)

Yep, did this a few years ago when we started visiting and staying at MSS every Vegas trip. It's been 12 month status since.... until just now.
Again, hope it's just a glitch.

    @Ty, I'm Sapphire.

I'm Saphire. The main purpose of our July trip is to maintain Sapphire since we aren't sure we will get to Vegas another time before next April.

I'm Sapphire and have been for a long time, though I've occasionally fallen below that level. I've noticed, however, that when that's happened, my status doesn't change on the BConnected site and the offers keep coming. Therefore, I can only guess that one's status doesn't officially drop to a lower level until after the expiration date, which in my case is the end of October.

Just for giggles: At the end of my annual Halloween trip last year, my tier points were above 25,000, but were due to drop below that at the next accounting on Nov. 3. I tried getting a new card at the Orleans Player's Club on Oct. 31, but evidently, they won't issue a new card until the old one expires, and I was going to leave for the airport early the next morning before the Club opened. Fortunately, I was able to get a new Sapphire card at the cage around 5:30 am on Nov. 1 that's valid through 10/31/2018. So when I dropped below 25,000 on Nov. 3, I was still listed as Sapphire! I've since gone significantly above 25,000, and one more trip before Halloween should ensure I remain Sapphire for another year.
