I have spent enough on chips that I now have the award for 2 free lunch buffets to be used Monday-FRIDAY. Lunch is until 3 and the gourmet dinner (with lobster) starts at 3. If I get there around 2:45, cash in myvegas for the 2 lunch buffets, can I stay through the dinner conversion and get the lobster?

The may not put a lot of the good dinner items out right at the time of the switchover, but it's a good plan if there is no line at that time to get in.

Depends on how many other "like minded" people like you will be standing in line.

Weekday gourmet dinner buffet with lobster? Is this new? I just had a tuesday dinner buffet at Aria end of April; and it had pretty bad seafood selection, crab legs, shrimp, and mussels were all mixed up and looking very unappetizing.

I've never heard of a buffet putting so-called premium items out at a later time. If dinner starts at a certain time, that is when the switchover is made.

We did this years ago at the Bellagio buffet. We slow played it for a bit as it took them about 15-30 minutes after the switchover to get the crab legs and other dinner only items out.

You must have snagged it at the right time. I looked and it is not available. Good eating.
But as said before, you might have to wait in line for a long time, past the dinner start time.
    Anyone know what happens then?
