    hello! Been browsing for a bit, but decided to Post! Going to Vegas for the 2nd time this year, next month. I’m from Alabama, but in Seattle . I’m a displaced southerner!

    But we're just getting to the good part. :) Or the bad part. Because it's light so early/late, you can't sleep. It gets too hot for people who don't have air conditioning. Nobody has sprinklers so the lawn dies unless you spend all day out there moving hoses. Tourist season. Dodging Duck Boats while trying to walk downtown. And for my husband, who commutes by ferry, the summer ferry fares/schedule. :haha:

    Don't forget the baseboard heaters that click and pop all day and night. :confused:

    But at least you're in Seattle. I lived on Whidbey Island. Talk about boredom.

    I had those baseboard heaters in the SF Bay Area. Do NOT miss them.

    Technically, I'm not in Seattle, but I can see it from my house. I'm over on Bainbridge Island. Just far enough away to not be in the city, but just a 35 minute ferry ride away from all the shopping, food and entertainment. :)
