    My Trip Report

Another trip to the promised land is mere hours away. My last trip out was for my 40th birthday 6 months ago. So needless to say I am chomping at the the bit for some Vegas. Here is a look at the particulars.

    The Where:

Bally's for the first 3 nights. The room type that I'm getting is a total mystery. I'm certainly not expecting much and that's fine. I have never stayed at Bally's and this is where my Mom and Sister wanted to stay so I got a room to be close to them.

Cosmo for the last 4 nights. Terrace one bedroom in the Boulevard tower over looking the fountains is on tap for this leg of the trip. I almost didn't do Cosmo this trip as my money situation is tighter than expected after buying a new truck for the biz.

Last year new boat at this time and this year the truck......I am hopeful that next year will be a quieter year on the biz expense report. :faint:

With that said I finally decided that the view from those rooms just can't be passed up. If I only make one trip this year I want to be damn sure I see the sun go down on Vegas from my terrace.

    The Deals:

I don't have much of anything in the way of deals from CET. Pretty remarkable.....I have a comped room. That's it.

Cosmo is comped room, food, and $200 in freeplay

    The Who:

Mom and Sister will be in Vegas till Friday. I'll be there solo Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

    The money:

8k and it was a struggle to dig that much up.

    The gameplan:

I plan on coming out of the gates slow at Bally's as CET doesn't deserve a lot of play from me. I am hopeful that I can survive on 2k there for 3 nights. The rest of my bankroll will be put into play at the Cosmo and they very much deserve the play. I will be playing lots of slots especially with Mom and Sister. BJ will be the primary game along with dice and bac. I also will place a few sports bets scattered throughout my stay. Remember I am a Tribe homer.......

    The To do list:

1.) Stick to my low rolling guns at Bally's
2.) Play the Simpson's game and get all bonuses
3.) Play the cow slot machine that everyone is having fun on and hit that special ufo :alien: cow bonus thingy.:evillaugh:
4.) Smoke copious amounts of hookah. Once again I bought my own hookah for this trip and will be taking it out to vegas to abuse my lungs.
5.) Get and maintain a solid alcohol buzz daily.:drunk:
6.) Treat Mom and Sis to Secrete Pizza while watching the sun go down from the Balcony at Cosmo
7.) Come home with more than $500. That's not $500 more than what I went out to Vegas with....that's $500 left in my dag gone envelope.o_O
8.) Laugh and giggle with Mom and Sister each day and cherish the seconds we have together.

Good enough intro to the trip I guess.

    Vegas I'm coming home.

While you enjoy watching the sun go down on the Cosmo balcony, we early birds enjoy the sunrise.

    Have a wonderful trip!

Following along, and Happy belated 40th! Just joined the 40 club last week myself, I wish you better luck at Cosmo than I had!

Opted for blackjack instead of slots. Bally’s slot selection leaves a lot to be desired. Lightning link and the new godfather look to be the highlights. Bought in at the BJ table for $500 and green chipped it. Pizza and hookah time and may lay down for a minute and rest the neck.[IMG]

I got destroyed at Cosmo for my 40th birthday trip[emoji23]. A self imposed 6 month Vegas ban was initiated upon returning home

Mom and Sis missed their connecting flight in Philly and are at a Marriott. They will be arriving mañana around 1 pm. Pretty bummed and I know they are as well. But I’m sure those two are making the best of it.

I was worried about your absence , good sir.

Glad you're well and back where you belong.

Hope you kept that Bucks Future bet from last Summer as their incredible Postseason run had the big city slickers on edge. They were only 13 wins short.

Always remember $500 buy ins @ the Cortez net you a lifetime free stay and luxury the Cosmopolitans cannot match.

Good luck & looking forward to checking in.

Couple of room pics from a Bally’s Jr suite. Nice renovated room. TV is really sharp and the bed feels fantastic. Very quick to the casino floor and seems quiet. Thumbs up so far from my initial Bally’s impression.[IMG]
