Anyone know if you can get the sticky toffee pudding at the bar at Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse?

I don't see desserts on the bar menu.

    TIA.

Yes you can do that. My wife and I have done this several times. In fact I think we have gone and got the sticky toffee pudding at least three separate occasions and we've never once had dinner in the restaurant. We just went up to the bar and ordered the dessert and some drinks.

I am hoping to try this when I'm there in just over a week. I've had the sticky toffee pudding pops at Burger, and it made me want the full dessert so bad. I'm travelling with my mom who has celiac and can't eat it, so if she can get a drink while I embarrass myself eating an entire sticky toffee pudding alone, all the better lol.

Is it a dessert meant to be shared? Curious because I was thinking about dragging my buddy there for dessert after we have our fancy steak dinner somewhere.

Either or. It’s not massive so one can easily eat it alone. I did share mine although we got two desserts. Check out the pics I posted in my “another steakhouse question” thread here.

The only concern is will it live up to the huge expectations of its online reputation. While it was very good, I actually liked the banana tart we shared as it was a nice surprise - I didn’t order it and had zero expectations of it but it was really good too. If going with another, go for two! Our server did a hard sell o the sorbets which he said was his personal fav. Also said if you really wanna piss them off in the kitchen, order the cheese plate! Lol. He seemed to like recommmending the cheese plate.

Curious, why not have your fancy steak dinner there?

Not hard to do. Any respectable bear can devour it.

    Thanks all for your advice.

The ice cream with the STP was sublime. Maybe your mom can have some of that. They can probably check to see if it has any ingredients with wheat.

I'm admittedly a bit of a GR fan (more Kitchen Nightmares than HK) so I was definitely toying with the idea, but Carnevino is my front runner.

Dessert, and shared... Two words that do not go together in my vocabulary. Ever! :D

Sticky Toffee Pudding is great, as have all my meals at GR Steak been.

I've eaten at Carnevino three times, and it just doesn't do it for me. I was going to give up after the 2nd, but it's the absolute favourite of my friend, and I promised him I would give it one more try.

Ask 100 different people their favourite steakhouse in Vegas, and you'll likely get ~20 different restaurants!

Have a great trip, and super meal, wherever you go.

Not to derail the thread, but what didn't you enjoy about Carnevino?

It wasn't that I didn't enjoy the meal, I guess I had his reports ringing in my ear when I went in, and was expecting the best meal I'd ever had. I just prefer the food at CUT, SW, and GR Steak.

It's been a few years since I've visited, so might give it another spin this year. If my better half can handle Delmonico & Carnevino, in one weekend :)

I will say that I did enjoy the appetisers very much, and that was the best part of the meal, for me.

We did our full meal at the bar. So, should not be a problem.

Can you not get sticky toffee pudding at the pub or fish and chips?

You can at the Pub and Grill, not at Fish and Chips, although they have a Sticky Toffee Pudding shake.

Does the pub version come with the same flavor of ice cream as at the steakhouse? If so, that might work. I see that Hell's Kitchen has speculoos ice cream instead of the brown butter ice cream at the steakhouse. For us, it's as much about the ice cream as the STP!

It's sweet cream ice cream at Pub and Grill, brown butter ice cream at Steak and peanut ice cream for the push pops at Burger (although I'm not actually sure if they still serve those, because I was there when it was BurGR, and I know the menu was redone).
