    Hi everybody!

I'm heading to Vegas next weekend and staying at DTG. I'm interested in drinking the best craft beer and playing the best vp machines I can find. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

The strip. You made a major mistake. But luck is luck. Good.

BHB seams like the way to go as long as their beer is ok. There is a wiiiide range in quality when it comes to craft beer!

bubba, I would love to have some of whatever you are smoking...lol

I think mss is the only downtown casino where you'll get good vp and microbrewed beer (they have their own brewpub).

But banger brewing is also right there.

Just trying to keep the crowd size under control downtown. Strip has lots of room.

The Chicago Brewing company at Four Queens is pretty good.

Banger brewing is certainly a must. They had some outstanding beers the last time I was in town.

Has anyone tried this Joseph James beer that Ive been hearing about? I guess they are in Henderson and supposed to be really good. Do any downtown casinos carry them?

Best bartop VP is 9/6 jacks at MSS with microbrews, Four Queens has good tables for most games and you can eat and drink microbrews and play upstairs at Chicago Brewing. El Cortez has the best slot club with dollar per point vp and a few local beers on tap. Upstairs at The D Vue Bar for best bonus poker. Downtown Grand has a nice vibe, but you should really drink and play at every property downtown that doesn’t have ‘olden’ or ‘ugget’ in its name.

Every time I can’t get a seat at the BHB I think this is a good option to recommend

The Parlour Bar at El Cortez doesn't brew their own beers, but they typically have some very good craft beers on tap, and they at least have 8/5 bonus poker. And as several have mentioned, Boars Head at MSS has 9/6 jacks and very good beer. You can even play 9/6 jacks at quarters. Only one machine at the Parlour Bar has that pay schedule at quarters

Are there any progressives at BHB?

It would be great if DTG had a better craft beer selection as their DDB progressive bank was +ev the last time I was in town.

...the Prohibition Bar at GG has a great selection of craft beer but the VP isn't so great. DTG offered Joseph James Hop Box Imperial IPA and a brown but they did not have them the last time I was there in December. The only thing they had on tap was PBR...WTF...love DTG but the inconsistencies with how they run the place drives me crazy...

The horror!!! :) Seriously, if all they have on tap is PBR I'm not gambling a nickel in that joint.

Bangar Brewing for beer, but no VP there.

I enjoyed the Joseph James beers too.
