Know that bar well. Btw, if you switch to deuces, the paytable is better at the other bars. Good luck, keep the quads coming!

That's SUCH a bad play...PLEASE never do it again.
ALWAYS hold 2 pair in Bonus Poker...(unless there's some CRAZY ass progressive on quads)

As well, 600 points is worth a dollar of food at their restaurants.

You should play 8/5 Bonus nearly the same as JoB. You'll always hold two pair in standard BP because 2 pair pays 10.
Yeah, breaking 2 pair with Aces on Bonus is a significant mistake.
Also a 40% discount on food at Boyd operated restaurants.

@tringlomane @TIMSPEED - I get the theory. However, I'm basically a 'hit and run' player looking for the significant hit. I'll hold the two aces often for that reason. If I'm settling in at a bar for a longer session and some bevvies (comped), I'll go with the sure two pair/possible tight.

I really wouldn't recommend playing Bonus then if you're going to break two pair with Aces. 9/6 DDB at the Mardi Gras bar instead would be a better choice, imo, since you're only supposed to hold Aces with 2 pair. It has an optimal return of 98.98%.

Optimal return in 8/5 Bonus is better at 99.17%, but if you always break 2 pair with Aces in 8/5 Bonus Poker, your expected return drops to 98.56%. Or in other words, increases the house edge by 73% by making that play alone!
